Rainforest Munnar Resort Last week our family had a short vacation break at Munnar. Rainforest Munnar is a beautiful escape surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and offer breathtaking vistas. The resort excels in hospitality, with friendly staff and excellent service. Guests can enjoy nature walks, trekking, and bird watching, making it perfect for nature lovers. The restaurant offers delicious local and international dishes, with fresh ingredients. Though it’s slightly remote from main attractions, the peaceful environment makes it a great spot to unwind. A perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Though the resort looks to be 9KM away from Munnar Central and is connected by a very rough terrain, still it’s worth to stay here as it makes me feel staying in the middle of a jungle. The chirping of the birds along with the sound of waterfall just beside this resort is something exceptional than staying in the city hotel and resorts. The sweet melodious songs by some birds early in the morning make my day special. I am sure everyone will love it if they hear the sound early in the morning. This facility even has two dogs and they are very friendly. One of them name, Shacky even became a friend of my puppy, Oreo. The service and hospitality is non-compromised. Every one of us loved the food they served. I loved my stay with my family here. The resort is highly recommended.

The location itself is stunning, offering beautiful views that make you feel immersed in the forest. Additionally, the resort offers a variety of adventurous activities, perfect for thrill-seekers. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Mini and Sharon. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive to every detail, making our experience even more memorable. Mini's friendly demeanor and eagerness to assist with any need made us feel right at home, while Sharon's local knowledge helped us discover hidden gems in the area that enhanced our overall experience. Overall, Rainforest Munnar is a beautiful place that combines excellent service, incredible scenery, and exciting adventures. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape into nature!

Nice and clam hotel, their hospitality and service was really awesome and can be recommended for family as well as groups.. we had our dinner there which was homely food and the next day breakfast was compliment with a wide variety of food with buffet. The staff were so humble and they were helpful even for our tiny needs. The room were spacious and clean, having every amenities. They made our stay greatful.

Beautiful resort with beautiful, safe, clean rooms. Service is tooo good. They have home cooked fresh meals. Must visit place when visiting munnar. The resort owners are very kind and helpful. They arranged bonfire at night. This resort is located in between Munnar hills, rooms have a great view of the hills and jungle. We had a stress free and relaxing stay at Rainforest Resort at Munnar

Very cooperative and polite staff, all services provided were extremely good. Homely food provided. Rooms are average but justified with the price range. The location is good near to elixer resorts. Pet friendly place if it matters.

During my recent stay at rain forest munnar I was impressed by the luxurious accommodations and breathtaking surroundings. However, one significant downside was the exorbitant pricing of the food and beverages. While I understand that resorts often charge a premium for their convenience and ambiance, the cost here felt disproportionately high. For instance, a basic breakfast item like an omelet was priced similarly to a fine dining meal in the city, and a simple coffee cost more than a specialty beverage at a boutique café. To their credit, the food was well-prepared and beautifully presented, but the taste and quality didn’t always justify the steep price. Additionally, the menu lacked variety, which became an issue during a longer stay. It was also disappointing to see additional service fees and taxes inflating the already high prices. For those planning a stay, I’d recommend exploring local dining options outside the resort, which often provide more authentic flavors at a fraction of the cost. While the resort’s dining may be worth it for a special occasion, it’s difficult to justify for every meal. Rating: 3/5 The resort excels in ambiance and service, but the excessive food prices detract from the overall value of the experience.

Two families comprising 9 adults and an infant stayed at Rain forest Munaar for a couple of days. The overall experience was par excellence. Of particular mention was the hospitality and the service oriented personal attention given to all of us. The lady manager and the assistant Sharon took good care of all our needs. The timely food with a variety of veg and non veg with tea and snacks was made available on demand. Strongly recommended. George Zachariah.
