Stayed there very recently. First of all the booking itself they didn’t respond properly. Then once we reached there the villa has no inside lock even one bedroom inside it has no proper latch. it’s not cleaned properly like spider webs all over. The food is ok but the spices level is unbearable.. too much spicy. They mentioned welcome drink but not provided. The breakfast was served at 9:30 including tea. Totally not a good experience for us.. so far the worst resort we stayed till date that too with high cost of 18k.. not worth the price … we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel with this amount..

1 day before we stay there.... very quiet and good atmosphere .... and the view of resort ... such a wow experience ... and very friendly staffs .. expecialy kumar .. he treat us very safely .. we will visit again ...🥰

We rented the 1 bed private pool villa for two days. The villa is located on the slopes of a beautiful valley with stunning views from the pool and the bedroom. The room service rendered by Rijesh and his staff was very satisfying. Food was great too. As beautiful as the washroom was, it still missed a few basic amenities such as toilet rolls and towel hangers. We also felt that the price was a bit too high. Otherwise it was a memorable stay!

Very disappointed with the lack of response from the team and their staff at the hotel. Resort itself is a rented villa from another resort which is currently not operational. I booked a private pool villa for my honeymoon and reached their afternoon and was very much exhausted from the journey. There is no network coverage in that area so, we got confused with the location, on reaching we ordered for lunch and then only we got to know there is no hotel, reception or food available for the guests. 250/- for autocharge to be paid extra. I havent seen an even dirtier pool in my life. It was full of fungus and all the cleaning was done by broom which is evident in the pool.(broomsticks floating). The supervisor also responded very badly and upon complaining he didnt respond to our call and came to see us for half an hour and then he quickly cleaned the next villa and pool and came to see us and told us we have seen the wrong room. I strongly don’t recommend this property at all and please dont fall in trap seeing their videos and pics. I got the refund after calling them for 3 days straight.

We planned a weekend there , the Rooms were pretty clean , Service was good and Everything was provided on request . Candle light dinner was arranged , except for the time we visited the climate was bad , rest of the stay was worth it ! !

Initially, I planned to stay for 3 nights but stayed only for 1. While the place has a great view and a nice pool, the place needs a lot of attention from the owner. There were 100s of empty beer bottles stacked below the balcony. Garbage can be found all around, especially on the sides of the balcony. The fan in one of the rooms was extremely dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The water from the shower was murky brown. One bathroom didn't even have any water in the morning. The food was the worst part. Ordered Kerala chicken curry with was disgusting. It had uncooked onions in it and smelled very bad. Overall, the place has a lot of potential to be great, but it seems to be neglected by the owner. In it's current state, it is definitely not worth what they are charging.

This resort is extremely disappointing and not worth the Rs 10000 price tag - it's only worth Rs 2000 at most. The bed, pool, and floors were dirty, and there was garbage everywhere. The food was terrible too. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Simply superb. A very cozy resort by the hill side with a fantastic pool villa. Elegantly located on the slope of a hill with awesome outdoor view. Pool was nice and hygienic. Food was delicious even if the menu is restricted. The caretakers were also very friendly and available for anything you need during the stay. If you are looking for a premium pool villa for your family in Chinnakkanal, then Planets view will not disappoint you. Strongly recommended for couples and family.
