NillThe resort boasts a scenic and spacious location with excellent river access directly from the property. While the rooms are generously sized, their interior upkeep could be improved to better reflect the impressive exterior. Dining was enjoyable and reasonably priced, though breakfast is a set daily item rather than a buffet. The staff were consistently helpful and well-mannered throughout our stay.

NillThe rooms are actually peeling off. The facility can be better maintained. The best part of the story is the staff who are elderly gentleman with lot of stories to say. Location is another highlight. Though the facility locks it's gates by 10.00.

Nill"Absolutely loved my stay here! The property's serene ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery and facing the river, made me feel like I was one with nature. The long lawn area, shaded by large trees, was a haven for birds like hornbills, butterflies, and munias building their nests on bamboo bushes. The staff's top-notch service made me feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the riverside restaurant offered breathtaking views. The property's electric fence ensured safety, while the small exit to the river area was a lovely bonus. The soothing sounds of flowing water and birdsong made my stay truly relaxing and rejuvenating. Highly recommend!"

NillPlantation Valley Resort is our family's timeless escape. We've been visiting this gem for the past seven years, in every season, like clockwork. The moment we step in, it's like nostalgia wraps around us like a warm blanket. Back in the early days, there used to be a majestic reindeer that would occasionally wander into the resort. One Christmas evening, just as we were sipping drinks and soaking in the festive vibe, this glorious creature trotted onto the lawn and put on an impromptu show. It was magical! Sadly, the reindeer has passed on since—but the memory lives rent-free in our heads. Now, let’s be honest—the rooms aren’t five-star fancy. The resort has aged, but it's aged like a good storybook: a little worn around the edges, but full of charm and Athirapilly magic. If you’re someone who loves “therapy,” well... this isn’t exactly a spa retreat, but hey, the natural water therapy hits different! There's a beautiful water stream right within the resort, complete with rocks, natural pools, and the soothing music of flowing water. Just be mindful—the currents can get playful, so swim responsibly! Evenings are a poem in motion. The sunset paints the sky while birds fly home—simple, beautiful, and grounding. That, more than anything, is why we keep coming back. My dad has a knack for crafting these green-forest family memories, and this place? It's his masterpiece. Growing old together with a place like this to look back on—now that’s a legacy worth having.

NillPlantation Valley Farm Resort, located in Athirapilly, is situated 28 km from Chalakudy and 2.5 km from the Athirapilly waterfall. The resort is nestled between the Chalakudy River and the Anamalai Road, offering stunning waterfront views. Each cottage features four air-conditioned double bedrooms with attached washrooms. However, the rooms could benefit from improved ventilation, and the washrooms' hygiene conditions are average. The resort's waterfront location creates a serene ambiance, and its proximity to the reserve forest means that wild animals may occasionally be spotted. On-site dining is available, with meals tailored to guests' requests. While the food quantity and hygiene are average, the elevated dining hall with waterfront views offers a pleasant atmosphere. One drawback is the intense heat during the day due to the low-level tin roofing.
