Solaris Beach Resort Varkala by VOYE HOMES

I am Dr. George Edward. I stayed with family in the Solaris beach resort Varkala on 16.11.2024. The location of the property is really great. Staff are cordial, particularly receptionist Seenu who is very efficient, respectful and helpful. All other aspects are just okay. In light of the amenities and facilities made available, the property is undoubtedly overpriced.

Had an amazing stay! Very beautiful cliffside view of the beach. Rooms look good. They are clean and spacious. Good food. Good staff. Will definitely be coming back if ever in that area.

Considering the kind of service and facility provided, the property is highly priced. The location of the property is nice with great view of the sea. But to reach there, you have to walk around 250 meters through a grass covered muddy road(path), as there is no vehicle access to the property. Rooms are spacious and neat, so are the bathrooms. No TV in the rooms. The common sitting area near the entrance is a useful spot where family members can sit together and talk with the accompaniment of the sound of waves. Service is very poor and the complementary breakfast is too limited. The morning tea we ordered at 7.00 AM was given at 8. When we reminded them of the welcome drink upon arrival, they said it would be served with breakfast. Overall, it is not worth the price.

The resort offers a stunning beach view from its cliffside location, but the rooms, though clean, are fairly average. The food is overpriced and mediocre, with breakfast being particularly disappointing-only one item was served, which is unexpected for a resort in this price range.

Very disappointing experience by name it is only resort. It is kind of homestay with beach area. In house dine is poor and limited even charges are like 5 Star hotel, no veg food is available. Veg people don’t take this property. Even in breakfast, they have provided steam coconuts roll and chana. Terrific. We need to struggle for breakfast.

We stayed there for two days and celebrated our marriage anniversary there. Location and serenity of this place is of another level. We get a nice sea view from the property. The staff there is very friendly and cooperative. They also agreed to do small decoration for candle light dinner on request. The only thing that can be improved is parking, as it is little far (200m) from the property. Overall it was a great experience.
