Hello Varkala beach resort

Very disappointed with my stay at this resort. I would honestly advise others not to book this hotel. The room was poorly maintained and extremely uncomfortable for the amount we paid. The bathroom facilities were in terrible condition — the bathtub was not functioning, there was a foul smell coming from the washroom, and the toilet kept making disturbing noises throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep peacefully. Cleanliness was another major issue. The floors were dirty, there were spiders on the walls, and insects inside the bathroom. Instead of properly addressing the complaints, the staff simply used room spray to hide the bad smell temporarily. We stayed from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM the next day and were charged an additional ₹1000 for just a few extra hours, which felt unfair considering the poor service and room condition. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The property needs serious improvement in hygiene, maintenance, and customer service. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Hello! I recently stayed at Hello Varkala Beach Resort and had a really good experience. The rooms were clean, neat, and well maintained. We were 3 members, and the stay was very comfortable for all of us. The best part was the beautiful sea view from the room, which made our stay even more special. They also had a bike rental option available at the resort, which was very useful for exploring nearby places easily. Additionally, the staff helped us book a kayaking trip, and it was a great experience. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varkala!

Extremely disappointed with our stay at Hello Varkala. Before booking, we were assured that all the facilities including AC and WiFi were working perfectly. But after checking in, the AC was barely functioning and the WiFi was almost unusable. Honestly, it felt like we were blatantly lied to just to get the booking confirmed. If you can’t provide basic amenities properly, then stop advertising them like everything is “perfect.” It’s pathetic and completely unacceptable for a paid stay. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude. We were a group of 2 men and 2 women, and when we raised the issue at around 12 midnight, instead of helping or fixing the problem, we were simply told to “checkout and we will refund.” Even with 2 women in the group, asking us to leave in the middle of the night was extremely irresponsible and insensitive. This is not the kind of response anyone expects after paying for a stay. Very unprofessional management and poor customer service. Basic facilities should work as promised, and guests should be treated with respect when they report issues. Completely ruined the experience. I have video proof of every word said by your staff and very soon I’ll definitely post it on social media.. and I’ll make sure your 4.4 star rating will get down.

I strongly recommend that no one book this resort. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room was extremely uncomfortable and not worth the ₹2500 we paid. The bathroom was in very poor condition — the bathtub was not working, there was a constant bad smell, and the toilet made loud noises every 10 minutes throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. Whenever we complained about the smell, the receptionist would simply spray air freshener and say the problem was solved. The cleanliness was also terrible. The floor was dirty, there were spiders on the walls, and many insects inside the washroom. Overall hygiene and maintenance were completely unacceptable. We checked in at 1:00 PM and checked out the next day at 4:00 PM. For just 4 extra hours, we were charged an additional ₹1000, which felt unreasonable considering the poor quality of the stay. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and even giving one star feels too much. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location is good. Value for money. But lot of power cut due to continuous rain and generator is not working. No backup generator. Car parking is limited. Big cars entering the facility is bit difficult. Bachelors were putting heavy sounds with speakers. Not peaceful.
