Upper Deck Resort

The rooms need renovation desperately. The furniture and mattresses were really outdated a s didn't justify the price point for the resort. The restaurant also needs an upgrade to add to the amazing location and views that the property provides. The property has an amazing location and there are some small treks also available nearby for the the enthusiastic crowd. Food was decent and service was good.

The place was awesome but the only thing is they don't allow drink music system and everything which we need for enjoyment. Ye mat karo woh mat karo pool is also available for limited time only. It's better then go some where else for your company events.

The resort boasts a prime location with stunning views from every room. However, accessing it with a small car can be challenging due to the rough road. While the scenery is a highlight, several areas need improvement given the cost: 1 Room service is not available. 2 Use and throw slippers are not provided, despite moist floors during the rainy season. 3 Food quality and variety have declined since my recent second visit. 4 Some rooms feature old, slightly damaged furniture, which dampens the experience. 5 The swimming pool is enjoyable, but the jacuzzi is out of service. 6. Play area needs huge revamp as Table tennis is broken & Chess coins are mix match which spoils game.

Beautiful location. Property is huge. Plenty of parking space. Food was not good. Both lunch and dinner buffet were average & breakfast too, Considering the price the customer is paying. Rooms Service is really poor. Do not order food in the room',it will take forever to bring it. The swimming pool is good.

I did not stayed here just went upto lobby to use their in dinning facility. The view is fantastic as hotel is situated at highest point in lonavala. Staff are courteous and helpful. Suggestion for improvement would be deploy someone to manage road movement up and down because at one time only one vehicle can pass either up or down and opposite vehicle has to reverse all the way either up or down after entering hotel peripheral.

The property is beyond words, it's so beautiful and well-maintained. The amenities are pretty decent and the hotel is huge. The prices are very premium equivalent to a 5-star property but the food, the buffet spread and the overall services are not at par with the price they charged. The breakfast has very limited options and the "live" Maggi and vada pav are not part of the buffet and charged separately as al a carte. The rooms and washrooms are pretty average and could use some work. The al a carte menu is priced very expensive. Overall, great place but needs improvement in terms of the services for the prices charged.

We (2 people) stayed at Upper Deck for 2 days. The property is nice and, being located at the highest point of Lonavala, offers an awesome view. The food was average. Rooms were clean and good, but not quite worth the price.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price Our experience at this hotel was disappointing, especially considering we were traveling with an elderly parent and a child — comfort and basic service were essential, but sadly, completely lacking. • The food was overpriced and lacked taste. Even though cost wasn’t an issue, the quality was poor and underwhelming and not at all worth the price. • Service was extremely slow in the Restaurant. After waiting 15–20 minutes for 2 cups of coffee (₹170 + tax) and multiple follow-ups, the manager casually told us “Banalo aap” while delivering coffee to another table — highly unprofessional. • The kitchen seemed understaffed and disorganized. • There was a pungent, unpleasant smell in the wardrobe. • Water was leaking into the room, and the light went out multiple times during our stay. • The AC wasn’t functioning and had to be serviced for almost an hour while we were in the room. (Attached an image) • There was no Wi-Fi or mobile network in the room, which made it difficult to get help or access anything online. • The room phone didn’t work, so every time we needed something, we had to walk all the way to reception (even for the smallest things). • Food could not be ordered to the room — we had to go collect it ourselves from the restaurant and then bring it to the room. • The swimming pool, although a beautiful infinity pool with an amazing view of the mountains, was poorly maintained. The tiles were coming off, and I even got a cut on my foot. Thankfully, my small niece didn’t get hurt. (attached an image) This entire experience was totally disappointing, especially when traveling with a sick, elderly parent and a young child — the lack of responsiveness, accessibility, and basic hospitality made things unnecessarily stressful. The only saving grace was the beautiful view from the hotel — truly stunning and serene. Unfortunately, that alone doesn't justify the overall poor experience. Not recommended.
