Good location, perfect stay. The staff is very hospitable and attentive. Loved the vegetarian food. Sighted with variety of birds, elephants in mudumala forests. Such a beautiful, peaceful place and Amazing safari’s . Really refreshed. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Alappat wild carpet for accommodating me and my family for this vacation.

The location is excellent, situated in the heart of Masinagudi town/village, and the staff are very courteous. However, the rooms are small and the hotel does not provide any basic amenities such as toiletries (unless requested), drinking water, cloth hangers, or TV. There is ample car parking space available, but it could benefit from better maintenance.

Alappat Wild Carpet Cottages is an absolute disgrace. No towel, soap, or dental kit — just a bottle of water. The TV was broken with exposed wires, and the place felt unsafe and sketchy. Parking was a joke, and the whole setup looked half-built and abandoned. The 5-star rating is clearly fake — this was the worst stay of my life. Avoid this place like the plague.

It was a pleasent stay in mysore and masangudi. The spot is excellent. Staff are friendly the view inside the forest is amazing.

My name is janet torregoza from dubai. it was really good experience during my stay at Alappat wild carpet cottages in masangudi. well maintained property. rooms are neat and clean. they are ready to arrange my requirements like jeep safari, on time breakfast. other facilities like they have a parking with in the resort area. also enjoyed the natural beauty.

Alappat wild carpet cottages is an amazing property in masangudi town located in the the heart of mudumalai forest and closest to ooty. Really secured to stay with family and friends in this amazing property. Location is really good service from the staff is recommendable. Thank you and visit you again. And also vegeterian restuarant is on the front side. Food was delicious.

A worst place to stay ..they don’t have very basic amenities ..no tv ..no towel ,no soap ,no proper parking ..I can say nothing ..don’t go for this ..I think 4.9 review is given in google is paid promotions …surroundings also not maintained…please avoid this place .
