GOLDEN RIVERSIDE TENT STAY

A no-frills glamping site. Safe, clean and well located amidst farm lands. Needs a high ground clearance vehicle to reach. The caretakers are friendly and helpful. The capsules are comfortable, while the tents are experiential. Definitely coming back with more friends and family later.

Will never recommend this, I am a solo traveller who was looking for budget friendly stay , i book tent stay online for 1000 Rs which itself high, after reaching this spot after all struggles at 1.00 am I found most of the capsules were empty and free because I reached on 15th early morning and i requested the capsule stay and they demanded extra money , after a discussion of staying till morning and shifting to tent in the morning they allowed to stay in the capsule. Once wake up in the morning at 6.30 they demanded extra money. And had to pay the extra money to settle the things. They just spoil the vacation mode. It's not just about money, the place is not worth the money is the point. Writing this feedback for people to be cautious about shifting their tents and capsules. People who come as group it might suit .. Otherwise not a worthy place at all.

Very good and different kind of stay option. Minimalistic and surrounded by paddy fields. Really good time spent here with nature. Stay is somewhat inside with no tarmac road but that makes this property interesting. Very economical as well. They can arrange food from outside if needed. No parking issues. All good. 5⭐.

Date : October 1, 2024. 5 members friends trip. Really a pleasant stay , had a great time with friends. Pros: 1. Large area, Place surrounded by paddy fields 2. Basketball, carrom, archery, shuttle within stay . 3. Camp fire and music. 4. Very good Care taker jagadeesan who helps and works hard. 5. Clean capsules and toilet. 6. Parking area, Full of grasses. 7. Barbecue marinated with very good taste. 8. Trekking into deep forest, very good to take bath in the falls when there is more water. But when we visited it is very less water. Ramalingam Anna( trekking guide) very nice person and shares more interesting information about yelagiri. 9. Even safe for couples n family. 10. Local village people were friendly. 11. Pumpset bath in the field. 12. Feels like remote , into the Nature.but just 2.5 kms from main Town. 13. Even they support for self cooking. Cons: 1. Route to the place is bit narrow and steep for cars.( Still it's different feel kinda off road ride) 2. No shops around. 3. Relying on them for food. But you will get food on call, since it's from restaurant, bit costly.but we can also drove back to town for food ( in the narrow route at night times).As we had one bike along with car, we used bike for getting things from Town. 4. Could be better chicken from restaurant as it is of more bone. As far as I know, no much places to visit in yelagiri, you can spend very good time in stay. Lovely place, will suggest for my friends circle for sure. Worth the money.

We stayed in both tent as well as capsule. Place is very much insulated from traffic. Clean and nice atmosphere... The caretaker is so good.. only disadvantage I see is there is no restaurant or hotel near this place. Once u reach your stay, you need to depend only on the caretaker for arranging food. Apart from this all are good. What we see in website is what you see there in property.... Cool... Great place to visit

Great place away from noise but one must get proper guidance to reach this place. Stoney road, so your car must have good ground clearance. Basic things missing a wash basin to wash hands after having food or using loo. You must carry your own drinking water, towels, tissue, soap, tea coffee etc. of course we cant expect these for the tariff being paid. Food was ok but bit over priced if not by much. Care taker was very friendly and helpful. Ample space for kids to run around.

A pleasant place to visit. Best views can be seen from very few places, so this room has a normal view. Climate is good in winter and hotter in day time of summer. Tents and capsules are available. Capsules are made of concrete so it absorbs heat during summer and it lasts until 8pm. Inside capsules, its good and accomodates 2 people. Capsules have their own camp fire space for each capsule. Tents are available based on bookings and dedicated space is already available with camp fire. Capsules have fans and not AC. Insects fly till midnight making it difficult to have food. Better to close capsule doors when not used. Else switch off the light and open the doors so it can be cooled faster during summer evenings. Rest rooms are available separately and maintained decent enough, no bad smells or any dirt. Toiletries are not provided and it's better to pack from home. Food can be ordered through manager and is of reasonable price. Better to order food because it takes around 15 minutes to reach the town by car. It's better to prefer the route via birds park because the other route is too narrow and bumpy makes it difficult even for bikes. Route via bird's park is good. Open space parking available for bikes and cars. Service is good. Recommended for friends. For couples, no scenaries from stay and not much privacy available. Places to visit are Lake, Thrill valley and Bird's park. Normal 3 star hotels are available in the town. Parking available in most of the places.
