The Govindam Resort

One of the worst hotel experiences imaginable. On the wedding day of a close relative — a day meant to be filled with love and celebration — we were treated with suspicion and disrespect by the hotel staff. They behaved as if we were trying to run away without paying, constantly hovering around us and questioning us in front of guests, which was not only humiliating but deeply insulting. There was no basic courtesy, no understanding of the occasion, and absolutely no hospitality. Despite giving some respect and help us they acted as if we were thieves. This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, let alone on such an important day. Their unprofessional conduct ruined the atmosphere and caused unnecessary stress to the entire family. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for a wedding or any family event. If you value dignity and respect, stay far away from this place.

The worst experience imaginable. This so-called resort is a disgrace and run by the most inhumane, greedy, and disrespectful people we've ever encountered. They ruined our wedding, humiliated our families, and turned a sacred celebration into a traumatic nightmare. They stopped the wedding mid-ceremony, cut the lights, and forced guests to sit in confusion and shame, all because we requested to pay the remaining amount after the wedding—something that was never communicated beforehand. There was absolutely no prior information that full payment was required the moment we arrived. And instead of handling it professionally, they chose to create a scene and destroy everything. They locked the rooms, held guests like hostages, and wouldn't even let us step out to get the cash! As if we were thieves running away with a few lakhs—what kind of twisted mentality is this? They trapped us, mocked us, and shamed us in front of everyone. Families ended up fighting, elders were crying, and the entire mood was shattered. And Mr. Prashant—don’t even get me started. He was the most arrogant and untrustworthy person of all. His words mean nothing. Completely unreliable, rude, and disrespectful. The way he spoke to us during such an emotional moment was absolutely vile. This place doesn’t deserve a single star. If there were a negative rating, I’d give it gladly. This resort is a hellhole run by people with zero values, zero empathy, and zero shame. Save yourself the pain—never even think of coming here. You’ll walk in with dreams and walk out with scars.

My experience at Govindam Resort was extremely disappointing. The service was very poor, and the staff members were largely uncooperative. A few of them even spoke to me unnecessarily and made me uncomfortable, despite my clear disinterest in engaging with them. The rooms were just average—not terrible, but certainly not worth the price or the experience. What was most disheartening was to witness such behavior in a place as sacred as Vrindavan. Unfortunately, the environment felt more driven by lust and greed than by the values one would expect in a holy town. I strongly do not recommend this hotel for family functions like birthdays or weddings. We were there for my maasi's wedding, and the entire experience was so poorly managed that some of our family members ended up in tears. The management was careless and the staff's behavior was truly unacceptable. Save yourself the disappointment—look elsewhere.

The worst experience ever. Made my whole family cry on our special day . It deserves minus rating. Ghastly management. Highly recommended not to choose this place. They lacked hospitality and even stopped the wedding proscession. My memories which were supposed to be filled with joy and excitement are not tainted with tears. Never had imagined that people would be so mean and lack humanity in a land so holy.

Cold, Rude, and Bitter This resort is nothing short of a scam. They humiliated us, insulted our families, and ruined the wedding. They locked rooms, refused to let us go out to get the remaining payment, and literally trapped everyone inside like hostages. The reort is very well maintained with lush green sourounding. Best for people having pets as they allow pets also. Room and hygenic and well maintained. The service from front desk to room is very good. Personal appreciation to Saurabh for his polite behavour.

Raw and Aggressive This place is a disaster. They destroyed our wedding and left both families in tears. The management is heartless, greedy, and completely unprofessional. They had the audacity to cut the lights, stop the wedding, and lock the rooms, trapping our guests like criminals. They treated us like thieves over a few lakhs—as if we were going to run away! Mr. Prashant is a complete liar. He made fake promises before the event, said we could settle remaining payments later, and then turned into a monster on the wedding day. His words meant nothing. He cheated us, lied to our faces, and mocked us in public. Don’t even consider this horrible place. If you want pain, stress, and public humiliation on your special day, this is the spot. Otherwise, stay far, far away.
