Oscenox Swiss Cottage

My experience was absolutely terrible and not at all worth the money. The room I was shown online was completely different from what I got, and the quality was far below expectations. Despite the high charges, the services were subpar. The food was extremely disappointing—not only was it overpriced, but the quality and quantity were also way below acceptable standards. The parking situation was a nightmare; my car was parked 3-4 km away from the hotel. When I asked the staff to assist me in bringing it back, they blatantly ignored my request, leaving me no choice but to walk all the way to retrieve it myself. Adding to the misery, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and completely indifferent. There was no sense of responsibility or customer care. Overall, it was a frustrating, overpriced, and deeply unsatisfying experience. I strongly advise against booking this place.

It was a pleasant stay at Oscenox. Hotel is located at prime location. You will get solid nature view from hotel in the morning and at night. Management is very good, they are available at your service even at midnight. Kudos to Rahul. He did fantastic job.

Mangal is best service guy along with manager Rahul. rooms may seem a bit pricey. but they can sweeten the deal if you negotiate. Views are next to awesome!

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Rishikesh Tapovan, and I had a fantastic experience! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that truly enhanced my visit to Rishikesh. The location was perfect—away from the bustle of the city but still close enough to explore all the major attractions. A special mention to the manager, Rahul, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, offering great recommendations for nearby spots to visit and even helping with transportation. His attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service really stood out.

The rooms were not good at all. The power went out just before bed and they took 45 mins to get the power back up. What was great about this place was the food and the absolutely stunning view of the river.

Worst stay at Osynox , if you are planning to stay here with family or kids/elderly . Please don't I looked at other stays at Tapovan , Rishikesh but since this one is more close to main road choose this at higher price (Deluxe room at 3500/day but couldn't stay more than one day) 1. their deluxe room is at 4th floor (no lift) , also the room allotted to me was with no view so no use of deluxe as such (please don't get fooled by pics) 2. Parking : The main entrance is on a very narrow street so if you have a car there are high chance you will scratch some wall (scooty/bike are OK). They will take your car to some paid parking (The hotel only has place to park 2 cars) that will be taken by the hotel owner himself 3. TV not working : I was travelling with kids , while checkin the TV was not working a guy came to fix it but after 30 minutes of operation he couldn't fix it ( also it fu*k your peace of mind when you came after a long journey ). You need a place to rest but here is a guy in our room fixing the TV 4. Bedsheets/ Curtains : It was all shady , looks like it was not changed in few months . Bedsheet was burnt ( see pics) 5. Food : Since the room was at 4th floor the food delivery guys takes forever to reach your room and the food is expensive for the quality. This property is not at family friendly , music till 11 PM . Guys drinking in open , ogling at foreigners. One of the worst experience. (The only exception is the guy Sonu , he was really helpful) Please stay away from this property / area.
