We booked this place located about 5 minute walk downhill from the exit of mutianya wall (toboggan exit). The building looks newly refurbished and the decor is beautiful ( although not any pictures showing how good it looks so I've added some).|The couple were lovely and the male owner was very attentive (using translator app) to help with communication. |The room was beautiful and modern.|There was a communial seating area in the hallway with tea making facilities and a separate lounge room.|They also had a terrace which they lit a fire for us at night. |The food was amazing ( evening meal and breakfast).|We stayed in 13 places during our 3.5 weeks in china and I liked this stay the best|I absolutely recommend staying overnight if visiting the wall.

This is a little gem of a family run business. They place is massive with communal lounges, roof terrace with Pizza Oven and pit fires and the place has had a full refurbishment, the owner couldn't do enough for us and other guest in the homestay guesthouse. The place was absolutely spotless and was a please to stay. Evening Meal and breakfast were all fresh and ample, would definitely recommend anyone doing the wall to use this hotel. ( use 916 express from Dongzhimen and H23 or H24) to get to the hotel for 14 yen.

We have an excellent stay at Let’s Go Cafe, a holiday rental accomodation at the base of Mutianyu Greatwall. We had a tatami room with a private bathroom and place is warm and comfortable despite being winter. There ate free wifi and cable tv as well. Owner, Mr and Mrs Yang were very hospitable and Mrs Yang home cooked food (Charge apply) is fantastic and please try the BBQ fish which is the best i ever had. They help us with transport arrangement and its seamless. Mr Yang even offer to bring us to Huang Hua Cheng GW through a private farmer access which we paid a minimal fee to see a less visited site. Highly recommend to stay.

I like the Hospitality of the Hosts. Mr Yang and his wife were very friendly people. Mr Yang even offered pickup and transport services from Nanshan Ski Resort to Mutianyu and from Mutianyu to Airport. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was heater in the house and the room and the floor is heated. Didn’t feel cold when outside temperature was -8 degrees. There was a roof balcony where I can relax with a beer and admire the starry clear skies with the surrounding Great Wall. Mrs yang cooked very delicious noodles and dishes to cater to your breakfast and dinner. There’s TV and hot water in the room with en-suite bathroom. With heated air so u don’t feel cold when showering. It is just a 5 min walk to the entrance of the Great Wall and Mr Yang will still offer to send u there in his car. He even helped you to buy entrance tickets and tickets for the cable skis chairlift & Toboggan ride(those with height phobia should not take this but opt for the cable car instead < it's a different ticket so pls clarify before purchasing).

我喜欢主人的热情好客。杨先生和他的妻子是非常友好的人。杨先生还提供从南山滑雪场到慕田峪以及从慕田峪到机场的接送服务。房子非常干净舒适。房子里有暖气，房间和地板都有暖气。室外温度-8度时不感觉冷。有一个屋顶阳台，我可以在那里喝杯啤酒放松身心，欣赏星空和周围的长城。杨太太煮了非常美味的面条和菜肴来满足您的早餐和晚餐。房间里有电视和热水，还有连接浴室。具有加热空气，因此您淋浴时不会感到寒冷。步行5分钟即可到达长城入口，杨先生仍然会开车送你去那里。他甚至帮助你购买门票以及缆车缆车和平底雪橇的门票（有恐高症的人不应该购买这个，而是选择缆车<这是不同的门票，所以请在购买前澄清）。

Positive: Despite the fact that Booking.com has this properties location and name wrong, I phoned "Let's Go Cafe and Homestay" and they drove down the road to pick my father and I, at the wrong location. The location and accommodations exceeded our expectations, as did the hospitality. The owners drove us to the great wall both days we were there and helped us get discount tickets. My father and I both have an gluten allergy and the host were understanding and able to meet our food needs. They even had us join them of New Years Eve dinner. We would have loved to stay longer, but were advised that we should get back to Shanghai, as the country was clamping down on travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak. For a very reasonable rate the owner drove us back to Beijing. I will most certainly stay there again, if I find myself near the Mutianyu section of the wall.. Negative: I did not like that booking.com has the property name and location wrong on their map..

Positive: Where do I start . First of all this is the best accomodation ! You have to book it ! Now why do you have to book it ? 1. the room is amazing it’s really spacious and it hs heating on the floor which was amazing ! 2. the breakfast is really great as well ! 3. the owner shows you how to make dumplings yourself! You basically do your own dinner and it’s so much fun ! 4. and most important : everybody is sooooooo friendly we felt instantly at home. Even though we had a really late flight they still brought us back to the airport . Also , when visiting the wall they helped us organise everything , tickets , transport ... it’s just Great and amazing and awesome and I am So happy that we stayed there . We would definitely come back !! We only stayed one night and we were reallly sad about that so we have to come back !!! Thanks again for everything !! If I could Give more than 10 points I definilty would !.

Positive: I can't recommend this farm stay anymore, the location is great and the host will pick you up from the bus station to save you the 3km walk up the hill. The location of the farm stay is perfect, less than a 1km walk to the entrance of the wall. The couple that run this place are so friendly, lovely and helpful! The room is clean, warm and comfortable. There wasn't anything I could complain about.. Negative: There isn't anything I could criticise about my stay here..

Positive: Wonderful stay with my husband and daughter. Everything was great: the room was comfortable and super clean, dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the hosts were very kind and friendly.. Negative: Can't think of anything - it was all perfect! Be aware that the English name of this property is listed incorrectly on Booking.com. It is actually called Let's Go Cafe and Homestay..
