Huzhou International Hotel

This aged 4-star hotel is well located at Hongqi road, in the middle of this small city. 10-min walking to the famous Yishang Road and Yintai department store. This hotel was always been the leading one over the past decades. Spacious and clean room with old-fashioned interior design. Well equipped with all basic facilities you need for a business trip. Officially there is no in-room Wifi but you can try to connect some free spots around. An indoor swimming pool operates till midnight. Buffet breakfast was just so-so. ||||There is a brand new hotel in the city called Dongwu which is nicely decorated with competitive price. Or it is worth trying to stay with Sheraton or Landison which are attached to the Taihu Lake.

这家历史悠久的四星级酒店位于红旗路，位于这座小城市的中心。步行10分钟即可到达著名的宜商路和银泰百货。这家酒店在过去的几十年里一直是领先的。房间宽敞干净，室内设计老式。设施齐全，商务旅行所需的基本设施一应俱全。官方规定房间内没有Wi-Fi，但您可以尝试连接周围的一些免费点。室内游泳池营业至午夜。自助早餐很一般。 ||||城里有一家全新的酒店，名叫东吴，装修精美，价格优惠。或者值得尝试的是住在太湖边的喜来登或雷迪森酒店。

酒店设施都很新，卫生也相当好。四星级的标准这个价格就很不错了。当晚入住的时间已经是8点多了，前台赠送了10元中餐厅的消费券，所以就道中餐厅吃的晚餐。小吃和菜品做得都不错，而且价格不算贵。第二天一早出了酒店大门才发现，原来酒店对面就是湖州人都知道的老字号——“丁莲芳”。可惜一早丰盛的早餐吃的太饱，要不无论如何也要尝尝这湖州四大名点之一的千张包子啊。总体感觉酒店位置很好，非常适合商务差旅。

I have been here during a business-trip to China. The Hotel was recommended to be one of the best in town. The first Impression underlined this, the reception area as well as the room floors look new and taken-care of. However, entering the room the carpet looked old, the beds do not offer a high sleep Quality. Although the swiiming pool / fitness area looks very nice, the fitness Equipment (Ergometer) did not work properly - could be easily repaired, I guess. As an international hotel there should be power-plug adapter in the room. ||Overall a nice stay, with reasonable pricing, but renovation needed to stay one of the best places in town.

I stayed at the Huzhou International Hotel for 3 nights in July 2012. In the past, I have stayed at Zhebei Hotel which is about a five minute walk away, and was expecting the same -- local Chinese hotel experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms. I stayed on the 17th floor, which is executive floor. I don't know what the other rooms below looked like. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. Fast, reliable, and free internet in the rooms. Clean sheets, and bathroom. Things get a bit strange when you leave the room. The Swimming Pool and Fitness Center are open from 11:00AM to 11:30AM, which prevents you from squeezing a workout in before your meetings during the work week -- the Swimming Pool is indoor and appeared half-Olympic size. The equipment in the Fitness Center is basic and out-dated, where I wouldn't really bother with, unless you wanted to do exercises only on the mats. The breakfast is OK - a bit local where steamed buns would be labeled as "Meat Package" and dumplings as "Hidden Golden Surprise." In a nutshell, the room was great and the rest was good -- no matter, it's the best thing going in Huzhou now, and at a reasonable rate. Good location too if you don't have a car -- in the downtown area so you can walk to explore. Tesco is 5 minute walk away if you want your own food to keep in the room.

停车上不太好停车因为地上停车位不是很多，服务这块做的可以啊，房间里住的挺舒服的，房间没有什么设备就一个吹风机、一个水壶。地理位置还好啊在街上不会感觉吵我住的蛮高的，这个酒店总体印象我觉得还好。自助餐厅环境都不错，装修有点特色有点欧式特色的，味道可能我不是这个地方的人不是很适应的，早餐是自助的。

位置非常的方便，在湖州市中心。但是四星酒店来讲，酒店隔音也太差啦，半夜听到门外有人敲门，隔壁房间的电视声和打电话声也很清楚的。洗澡一会儿热一会儿凉水。服务人员配备不够。性价比不高，在马路边。旁边有工程在施工，需要提升的地方还是挺多的。不过酒店正对面是千张包子，味道很好，推荐去吃吃。|

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and was very disappointed. However, since then the property has been completely redone and is in much better condition. The staff now has English speakers and the rooms are well maintained. The beds are quite comfortable, rooms are clean, and the internet reliable. I had no trouble using a VPN connection for work. I found the staff very friendly and the location is good as it's located right in the heart of the city. One plus is the TV options. They also have a huge collection of movies and TV shows available on their programming.

I stayed on the executive floor, the room was clean and well equipped for a for star hotel. ||The second most important factor - next to cleanliness - is a comprehensive breakfast buffet. Beside typical chinese "delicacies" were also western style dishes, Austrian Jam (Darbo), Bread etc available. Even the coffee was enjoyable.||Like in all other chinese Hotels where I stayed before, the mattress is extremely hard.||TV Program is mainly Chines - I think there was only one English channel availabel (HBO).

我住在行政楼层，房间干净，设施齐全，符合星级酒店的标准。 ||除了清洁度之外，第二个最重要的因素是丰盛的自助早餐。除了典型的中式“美食”外，还有西式菜肴、奥地利果酱（Darbo）、面包等。就连咖啡也很美味。||就像我之前住过的所有其他中国酒店一样，床垫非常硬。||电视节目主要是中文——我想只有一个英文频道（HBO）。
