New Dap Hostel

I recently stayed at the New Dap Hostel in Turpan and had a delightful experience. The hostel's location is fantastic, situated conveniently close to many attractions in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local eateries and sights to explore. The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious common areas for socializing with fellow travelers. The a**osphere was lively yet relaxed, making it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. One highlight was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning views of the surrounding area, especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and chat with other guests.Overall, I highly recommend New Dap Hostel to anyone visiting Turpan. Its combination of great location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable stay.

The only hostel in Turpan. Can’t recommend enough. There is a shared tour you could join in a reasonable price. The host speaks excellently English which is a plus. Bathroom is clean. Room is spacious enough and it also has a decent table for online working. A few restaurants nearby

We liked our stay very much. It’s nice for relaxing in the backyard on a hot day or to meet other travellers. Staff is very helpful and also offer tours to the touristic sights in the region. Try the coffee!

DAP is a really friendly, well run and comfy place to stay in one of the most laid back areas of Turpan. There are good places to eat nearby, and the owners have lots of great info to share about where to go and what to do. Recommend!

The hostel is in a beautiful big building in a nice, pretty relaxed neighborhood, with lots of small restaurants and shops. The dorms were comfortable, however it would be nice to provide toilet paper and hand soap in the bathroom... They do organise tours of the area but unfortunately I couldn't find enough people to go as it was low season. However it's easy enough to grab a taxi and go see some of the sites yourself. The lady at reception speaks perfect English, always helpful! Ah and a very very cute golden retriever ;)

Absolutely amazing! The hostel is gorgeous, the room is spacious, very clean, and the shower is so good after a long day sightseeing. The hosts are very welcoming, professional, speak fluent English, and organise several tours with very good tour guides! I highly recommend asking for Tahir as your guide, he speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable and professional! Oh, and they make great coffee! They also provided chocolates and local raisins in the room, which are delicious. The location is perfect, plenty of delicious Xinjiang cuisine nearby and central to key sights. I highly recommend staying here!

I want to write an English review for anyone considering staying at this hostel. I really enjoyed my time here! The owner is really cool, and helped me plan a tightly scheduled trip. The hostel is very clean and comfortable, they have a dog, and you can rent an ebike here as well. Staying here helped make Turpan my favorite stop during my visit to Xinjiang.

Super beautiful place, comfortable, in a cool street, with an amazing owner very helpful and interesting :))I could see myself stay in this place for a long time 😍Bonus : very friendly dog, and café and bar in the hostel.
