Snob Hollow Inn

We loved the snob hollow inn! It was perfectly clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. We were in walking distance to all the downtown things that we wanted to see. This was our favorite lodging on our while honeymoon, and we definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a clean, cozy, and comfy space to explore Anchorage. Adorable guest house. Very relaxing stay. We loved our room. Wonderful location just a few blocks from the waterfront and the 4th Avenue restaurants and shops. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend!

We rented this space for a nonprofit board meeting of 10 people and could not have asked for a more beautiful or perfect setting—plenty of natural light, stunning mountain views, a spacious table for conducting business, and a comfortable living room and kitchen for breakout sessions. One board member traveled from out of town and was able to stay on-site. Mandy and her sister were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our two-day stay.

I stayed in the historic downstairs bungalow. One of the best experiences with a Airbnb/B&B I have had. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants and general sightseeing. Beds are comfy and cozy. It was a great home away from home while in Anchorage for work for 2 weeks. Owners were very nice and helpful.

Snob Hollow is our go-to place when we are in Anchorage! It is kid-friendly, close to a very walkable downtown, and has all the amenities one would need. The rooms have recently been renovated and are spacious, quiet, and have everything you need to feel like a home away from home in Alaska!

Snob Hollow is our go-to place to stay in Anchorage!! My family has stayed there multiple times for both business and vacation. It is kid friendly, and has a stocked kitchen for breakfast and incidentals. From location and comfort, to amenities and hospitality, Snob Hollow is a must-stay!

Looking for somewhere to stay before boarding the train to Whittier, we came across the Snob Hollow Inn. From first arriving, a little early for check in, the proprietor Mandy and her sister Holly made us feel at home. The experience was truly wonderful and the hospitality home style. After a look around Anchorage, we arrived back to check in, to find our luggage already in our room and our groceries unpacked and in the fridge. The room was amazing with a view over the inlet. Modernly renovated, the room had the largest windows to take in the view. The property is situated within an easy walk to Anchorage Railway Station, from where you can pick up the train to Whittier for that inside passage cruise.|A very wonderful experience. I was a bit concerned that it looked a bit metal and sterile in the photos, but this was misleading, and in reality, it's super nice.||Really comfortable room with all you need. I loved the fluffy duvet and pillows (a treat after so many places we stayed this trip had just a blanket and a sheet). Good shower, friendly manager, and the guest lounge had good free snacks - incl. fresh fruit, granola bars, and yoghurt - great perk!||Do be aware that there are a few stairs to access any of the rooms, and if you arrive late, there won't be anyone around to help you if these are an issue with your luggage (keypad system to get in). Also, if you need parking, let them know and grab a spot in advance since it's limited. We missed this, but there is free street parking nearby after 6 pm, so it wasn't a problem.||The railway station is walking distance, as is the downtown area for shopping, the trolley tour, and some restaurants (we loved Ginger).
