For a 2-star hotel, I give it 5 stars on value. The complimentary shuttle serving both the Fairbanks Depot train station and the Fairbanks airport was really helpful, especially at night and in the snow. The room was spacious and clean, the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the location was ideal. They have some free hot beverages and free laundry (just purchase or bring detergent) as well. Plenty of free parking too. I faced no issues during my stay and would highly recommend staying here!

Staying at Candlewood Suites Fairbanks with kids was a wonderful experience. The hotel offers spacious and well-equipped suites with a kitchenette, making it easy to prepare meals for the little ones. One of the highlights for our family was the convenient amenities. The 24-hour Candlewood Cupboard allowed us to grab snacks and drinks anytime, and the free laundry facilities were a great bonus for longer stays. The staff was incredibly friendly and even provided helpful recommendations for family-friendly activities, such as aurora viewing spots and local museums. Overall, Candlewood Suites Fairbanks is an excellent choice for families, whether for a short stay or an extended visit. The combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality made our trip truly enjoyable.

We’ve stayed at this hotel for two years in a row, and it continues to exceed our expectations! The staff truly goes above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering warm and attentive service that makes all the difference. One of the biggest perks for us is the in-room kitchen, which allowed us to cook our meals—such a convenient feature that made our stay even more comfortable. On top of that, the free laundry service is a fantastic bonus, especially for longer stays. The location is also great, right in the heart of Fairbanks, making it easy to get around. If you're looking for a place that’s welcoming, well-equipped, and perfectly situated, this is it. We’ll definitely be back again!

We stayed for 4 nights and we were pleased with the room. The beds were comfortable and there were at least 2 pillows firm enough to get a good sleep! The room was clean and well stocked. The front desk person was professional and checked us in quickly. Staff we saw in passing were all friendly and welcoming. Other than not having a proper breakfast available, it's a great place to stay. The location was convenient to all of our activity plans.

It was comfortable stay with decent location. Walmart was just opposite to it so help me get anything required. Overall it was neither exceptional stay non bad.

The mattress was extremely comfortable. We thought we were getting a suite, bedroom separate from livingroom, based off of pictures on the website, but that was not what we got. It was spacious, things looked fairly new and well kept. It's weird that the carpet seemed loose, as in not glued or tacked down. The people working the front desk were all very nice. The little store was nice to have. The laundry room was a true blessing.

Location - conveniently located in major shopping area. Walmart and restaurants are walking distance from the hotel. Amenities - guest laundry is complimentary. They have a convenience store they call “cupboard” commodities like laundry supplies are super affordable. Unlike other hotels that take advantage of the prices you will not experience that here. You can have coffee, hot chocolate and tea at the cupboard 24/7. Staffs - they are friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness - they don’t do daily cleaning but upon check in, we have no complaints on how the room was cleaned. Facilities - my only complaint is there is water flowing on the faucet even when you turned on the shower. I hate wasting water so if they can fix that issue with no water being wasted would be great.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Location has convenient/easy access to food, gas station and a Walmart.
