★★★★★Best experience EVER!!!!||||I've been to Haines several times in the last few years for different festivities. But the people at Fort Seward Lodge gave us a better experience than we've ever had before. We rented the new suite and were blown away by how beautiful it was and how amazing the view was and how amazing the people that ran the lodge were to work with. From the moment we got there until the moment we left we felt welcome and like we were best friends for years. Awesome place, awesome bar, awesome brunch!!!||||Thanks again to Lena and the crew for making our Haines weekend one to remember. ||||I highly recommend this to anyone heading to Haines. ||||Walking distance to everything too!!!!!

★★★★★My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights with another couple in their newly remodeled suite. It was clean, spacious, modern and contemporary with a rustic charm. I highly recommend the suite for a weekend getaway. It has a large open concept living room and kitchen with a fireplace, flat screen tv, two bedrooms and a large bathroom. The private deck and amazing water view was my favorite. It was just a short walk to the beach and local distillery. Plus the staff was very helpful and friendly. They also had a wonderful yoga class and brunch on Saturday morning and great drink specials in their saloon. I will definitely be coming back!

★★★★We needed a place to stay overnight before catching the ferry out the next day. The place was all closed up and sign on the door said back at 11. It was well past 11, but we realized - small town, laid back attitude, no worries. When we got into the office, Hillary said one room available, no tv, only one bed (but there were 3 of us) and we could have a cot. Bathroom is shared. We've never staying in a place with this type of situation and our teenage son was up for the adventure. We ended up chatting with Dan and Hillary and really enjoyed our stay at Fort Seward. Hillary gave valuable advice on places to visit and see while in town. What to expect: small room, bar and restaurant on site, amazing views, friendly management.

★★★★What really made this place shine was the wonderful staff. They are super friendly and helpful, very welcoming and accommodating. The place is old - that's why they call it "historic" - so expect that. It was very clean. We had one of the rooms with a private bath, and it was a very small bathroom, but it worked just fine. It's not in the "center" of Haines, but it's only a short walk to "downtown". The view from the deck is fantastic. The restaurant and bar were not open when we stayed there. I would definitely recommend this place, and it's where I'll stay if I make it back to Haines!

★★★★★Every time we stop in Haines we stay at the Fort Seward Lodge! Their staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are always clean and tidy. Morning Yoga with Lena is the best way to relax and unwind! ||||The lodge has a great central location and is within easy walking distance of the waterfront and down town. ||||We can't wait to come back and visit!

★★★★★This is the 2nd time going to the lodge this summer season and was SO worth it. This lodge came up from the dust & has made a debut with a bang. The managers of the lodge were very hospitable & took excellent care of us, the lodge was BEAUTIFUL and clean, & they also have a BAR--even if you're around town, stop by this bar. ||They also hosted probably the best party I've been to all season. Live music, a little burlesque performance, and reasonable drink prices. ||If you haven't been to the lodge, make it on your todo list!

NillBest lodge and bar in the town of Haines for the spring/heli-ski season. SEABA is based here for the heli-skiing season, and is a very lively scene. Keep an ear out for the dance parties too, they spring up randomly and are the best time!

★★★We paid $20 a night to camp, as opposed to getting a room at the lodge, and we're glad we did.||.There were Zero people at the lodge the entire time we were there which was a bit odd maybe the season hasn't started up yet. ||All of the doors to the rooms were unlocked we decided to look inside and they were not worth the price that was being charged. The restaurant and bar was closed for the year and as we booked that was something we were looked forward to. There was no wifi anywhere on site, both of which were mentioned on the website. With multiple photos that did not really look like what we expirenced. ||As we know haines is an old city but it seemed like a ghost town and unfortunately the lodge did to. |Beautiful views and camping we could do our own thing on the lawn for setup at the lodge but just know it's not all you see online as of this current time of year anyways.
