NillI do not usually leave reviews and much less prior to check out but I wanted to make it a point to leave an excellent one for the magnificent management team of this hotel and specifically Maggie and Kris. As an Ambassador Elite I am used to great service but Maggie and Kris went above and beyond. The level of service has been so outstanding that it’s made it easy for me to overlook the fact that this hotel is about to undergo some remodeling. I can’t wait to come back after the remodeling! Location is perfect, water view unbeatable and gym had all I needed. Thank you Maggie and Kris for reminding me why I am so loyal to the Marriott brand.

NillGreat location. You can walk to anything downtown. The front desk employees are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew is just as helpful and friendly. They cleaned our room daily and replenished our coffee/tea bar and waters each time. Great place to stay.

NillGreat location and comfortable lodging near downtown Juneau. We flew in late so we didn’t check in until ~11pm. The person working the front desk was very friendly and it didn’t take long before I had the keys in hand heading up to our room. We were on the 6th floor and with our Marriott status, we were upgraded to a room with an ocean view. The room itself wasn’t anything special, similar to other Four Points rooms I’ve stayed in. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, the shower water pressure was great, and the view was very nice. A few cons: the bathroom was super tight, the pillows were terrible - looked fluffy but became flat as pancakes once you laid on them - and the room didn’t have a/c. I could certainly see why a/c isn’t necessary for a climate like Juneau but was just thrown off that the room was heat only. Luckily it was a little cool out so when we opened the window, we had a nice breeze coming in. The downside with this was the window was right by the street so we clearly heard all traffic that drove by. You can’t beat the location, it’s walkable to just about anything in downtown Juneau. Our overall experience here was positive but the main reason for not giving 5-stars was the price of the room. I get there aren’t many hotels in Juneau and we were here during the busy season, but over $600 a night for budget lodging is absolutely ridiculous. Being a loyal Marriott member, I figured staying at the Four Points would be a solid choice - and that statement is true. But the pricing is insane, charging high end hotel pricing for a budget room with no a/c is just wrong - they’re clearly taking advantage of people visiting Juneau. Not sure we’d stay here again because of the pricing.

NillShower didn't work, no hot water. When I tried to call front desk phone didn't work. Called on my cell and this is what I was told about not having hot water. "There's nothing we can do about it. " That's right, this is what I was told. This if what passes for customer service with this generation. Hotels offer 2 things, a bed and a hot shower. You take 1 of those away and it's useless.

NillWe stayed here for three nights and I absolutely will not do it again. $1800 for three nights and the room was really bad. Carpet stained, bed felt like we were sleeping on a brick, pillows went completely flat as soon as you put your head down and the bathroom was tiny. There was also a large amount of hair stuck in the drain from the previous people staying that wasn't cleaned out before we got here. For this amount of money, I expected more.

★★★Positive: The location was nice as it wasn't too close to the crowds and ships but was still walking distance. Negative: The beds felt like wooden planks with sheets on them, the pillows went flat as soon as you laid your head down, the bathroom was tiny as in I couldn't close the door unless I wedged myself between the toilet tank and the counter and the room was dirty.

NillHotel location is easy and convenient. Rooms are average accommodations. There is no air conditioning in the hotel so for the summer months, they have a box fan in room but probably need more to help guests. Rooms get hot, windows open at night but the daytime room temp is so bad. The juneau port is fumigated by cruise ship exhaust so be warned about air quality.

NillI feel like a lot of these reviews are fake because this hotel is pretty BAD. It feels more like a cheap motel and nothing near the bare minimum of a Marriott hotel. It is very outdated and dirty. The entire hotel smells old and they try to cover it up which makes it smell even worse. The keycards always had issues the first day we were there. They only give you 2 towels and they gave us one small bottle of lotion that was HALF USED. The bathroom is very small and the door is pretty much in the way and you can’t move around easily in there. The drains were clogged. The vent doesn’t work and hasn’t been cleaned in what looks like years. (See photo) The floors of the rooms were also very dirty. There is NO AC and you have to open your room window which brings in all the street noise. It is never quiet. There is no breakfast and the restaurant wasn’t open. Paying $700/night, you would expect a bare minimum of Marriott standards for your hotel. THIS IS NOT IT. Do not waste your money here.
