Pond Studio Apartments

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a welcoming environment. The time and effort that the manager, lea put into making sure we were comfortable and that our needs were met, made us feel like we were her top priority threwout our stay. The views were cascadingly beautiful and eccentric, and I’ve never felt more attached to the “home away from home” saying. I will absolutely recommend this as a stay away to anyone planning to visit Seward, and a big thank you to Lea for making sure we were well taking care of!! :) 100/10

Pet-friendly, great price, excellent cleanliness! WIFI available at extra cost. We rented a room (equipped with two bunkbeds) for a long weekend. We had 4 adults and a dog and these basic studio apartments were perfect for us. Pros: The room & bathroom were very clean. Parking was easy (and free), door-code check in was fast. The view from the parking lot was really nice. Close to downtown Seward. Price was more than fair. Dog friendly was a huge plus! Cons: There weren't any utensils or dishes in the full kitchen. It would be nice if there was a basic hotel set with a few cups and utensils. Also they do not provide free WIFI and the paid plan options are not geared towards short term stays. The cheapest one was $20 for 100GB/month and could only use it on 2 devices at once. Also be aware that the google navigation does not take you exactly to the correct place. Better to call them and get verbal directions.

Room: Two bunk beds with mattresses (4) and a wire shelf Kitchen: Full fridge, stove/oven, microwave, and sink. Bathroom: Full Shower, toilet, sink, and a wire shelf No bedding so bring sheets, blanket/sleeping bag, and pillows. Safeway is 5 min away but over-priced so bring food

The place is very new, we might have been the first one staying is that room. It has a lot of potential but a lot of problems... For starter, it has no free wifi, in 2021 I can't give more than 3 stars to a place without wifi, even Starbucks and McDonald's offer free wifi... You can pay to get some wifi, but the only offer was a 1 month subscription, not worth it for 2 nights... Without internet, the TV was useless... Then, the place was empty, like very empty, it had nothing, not even a plastic cup. Even a cheap motel gives you a couple of plastic cups... How am I supposed to use the kitchen without cups, glasses, plates, and ustensiles ?! Luckily we were equipped and had everything, but come on... The bed sheet were stained... The cabinet in the toilet was so new it was unfinished and had no handle on the doors... The table and chairs were a camping folding set. Give it free wifi, some equipment and it could be a very nice place to stay. As I said, it has the potential but right now it is a miss.
