Rustic Roots Cabins

This was an AMAZING place to stay! The views are spectacular. The serene atmosphere is just what we needed. We had two cabins - Blush and Forest. The Blush was the BEST for a family member in a wheelchair. Forest was perfect for 3 people. We loved the community kitchen, local coffee, chocolate, and hot sauce in the room. We walked to Miller’s landing to eat, get coffee, do laundry, and watch the fishing boats come in. This was a place I would come back to. Loved it!

We started off our Alaskan bucket list trip in Seward at the Blush cabin. I researched places to stay over a year ago and found this place and fell in love especially with the incredible view. I received an email several months after booking that the property was sold. Thankfully, the new owners honored my reservation. They also updated the unit and made it more incredible. The unit is small but extremely cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved laying in bed, mesmerized by the view of Resurrection Bay and watching sea otters and seals playing and eagles soaring above. If we travel back to this area we will definitely stay again. One of the most memorable stays in our lifetime.

The Sage room was cozy, well-lit, and stocked with everything a coffee lover could ask for! I enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker and slept like a baby in the large bed. I appreciate the little details around the properties as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed at the blush cabin and it was breathtaking! The windows looking out at the ocean and mountains was the perfect way to wake up every morning. There were just the perfect amount of amenities & the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved being able to stay here and would absolutely recommend to others looking to stay in the Seward area.

Pure magic! - The location is so close to downtown Seward, it's great for starting your fjord journey! The beauty is that you feel like you are in another world! Bed was super comfortable and positioned perfectly to just watch the fjord magic outside. Cabin had all the amenities needed to make a great stay. Thanks for a great time!

Let me start by saying that the view from the cabin is spectacular! We were right on Resurrection Bay and were able to see seals from our cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners provided binoculars and bear spray in the cabin as well as fishing poles when we requested them. The owners were also very responsive when we texted them with questions or requests. It is obvious that they care about the comfort of their guests and improving the property. I have to close by once again commenting on the beauty of the property and the view of Resurrection Bay.

Love! This was an exceptional stay, loved everything about it! I hope to come back with my kids next time as there is lots of exploring to do.||If you don’t know which cabin to book, I’d suggest one of the bay facing cabins to get the full location experience.

We spent four nights in Seward, and loved it so much. Our suite was comfortable and spacious, and it was great having a small fridge, coffee maker, and utensils and cups and plates to make eat breakfast in the room. ||Our host graciously let us store our fish in their big chest freezer. We hope to return for another visit SOON!
