★★★★★I am so glad I was able to stay here; it was perfect for my short trip to Seward! The location is perfect for walking to everything in Seward, restaurants, the bay, even one of the hiking trails. The rooms are pristine and so comfortable. Everything feels new and bright and up to date. Carrie, the caretaker is just fantastic. She was so helpful about check in and local recommendations, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. This really felt more personal and hospitable than a standard hotel, and it just embodies the Alaskan spirit. I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to get back to Seward soon, and when I do, this will be my first place I look at to book a stay!

NillOverall excellent visit. Extremely clean, quiet setting in a beautifully remodeled ranger station turned hotel. Right in the middle of Seward, all the sites are < 1 mile walk (or free town shuttle has a stop 2 blocks away). Only note is that the front desk is not staffed 24/7, which led to some confusion during check-in/check-out. Just be prepared you may need to call front desk phone number to get checked-in when you arrive.

NillWe stayed in a queen room with private bathroom for two nights in the later part of August this year. The room was clean, the bathroom was functional, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The shared kitchen area has a mini fridge, microwave, mugs, paper towels, and dish soap to clean up. Staff comes by in the morning to set up a coffee dispenser. The lobby area of the lodge also has a water fountain. The other guest we met there was cordial, and I think everyone else staying there was respectful of the quiet hours of 10pm-7am. Cory (not sure about spelling) was friendly and helpful at check-in. Check in does end a bit early - 8pm with anything after 6pm considered a bit late. The lodge is a very short walk from the Alaska Sea Life Center and restaurants and shops and a 20 minute walk to the harbor (according to Google maps). The area felt pretty safe. Although my boyfriend thought the layout of the room was a bit cramped, I thought everything else was great and a good value compared to a lot of options I found online.

★★★★★We were in Room 1 for a couple of days before we departed on our Alaskan Cruise. I was a little worried because no one knew where this place was or never heard of it but it had really good reviews so I just booked it. I am so glad we did! It’s like a little hidden gem! Probably THE MOST updated room you’ll have in Seward. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The staff were so nice and helpful. I felt like you were spending the night at a cool family members house. They recommended really good food spots and things to do. The free shuttle that ran around town you can catch it like a little block away one side and on the other. Super easy to navigate. Reasonable priced. Hands down recommend it. It’s super clean.

★★★★★This has been a wonderful place to stay! Quiet, clean, safe, well-located, this lodge has it all! We had half of our party in a suite with a bath and another in the shared bath situation and there was no complaints at all. The shared spaces were well ventilated, clean and convenient. We didn't have any issues with the communal spaces and the rooms has everything you need! |This was also perfectly located to the main street as well as an easy walk to the cruise tours. Parking was convenient, private parking spot was available for suite 7! ||We had a wonderful time, thank you Adventure Lodge team!

★★★★★Were were in room 7: 2 Queen Bed Room with En-Suite Bathroom|Seward Adventure Lodge is easily one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. Everything feels fresh, new, and well cared for. Great location, walking distance to everything in town, easy parking, and close to a stop for the free shuttle. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They were knowledgeable about Seward and surrounding areas, offering tips and advice for activities, resources, and happenings in town. ||The bed was comfortable, blanket laying was on point, and room temperature was easy to control. I'm typically cold and after a day on the water this was much appreciated. Given the long daylight hours in summer I appreciated that care and thought was put into the window coverings. Many guided activities in Seward start very early, before cafes are open, the in room coffee maker and fresh ground coffee was so helpful in starting our day off right. ||Some might think the price is a little steep but, I did my research and found that it's pretty similar in cost to other hotels in Seward and this one is probably one of the nicer ones. Also don't forget this is a tourist destination in Alaska during peak season, everything is going to be run at a premium price. ||I recommend the Adventure Lodge and would definitely stay here again.
