The Lodge at Lone Moose

The Lodge at Lone Moose was hands down the best venue I could have imagined for our wedding day. Daniel and his team were incredibly helpful, responsive and communicative from day one. Daniel is one of the kindest and most genuine people and truly wants you to have the best day. He strives to take as many things off your plate as possible. When we arrived, Josh was super helpful getting us settled and answering any questions we had. Our guests loved staying in the cabins, and we have had tons of comments about how much everyone loved the venue. We even had friends plotting to use the venue in the future for their vow renewal! It was perfect through and through. There are tons of amenities included that you'd otherwise have to buy or rent - signage, plates, silverware, tables, chairs, candles, umbrellas, bar, freezer, heat lamps, etc. The venue itself is already so beautiful, so it doesn't take much in the way of extra decor. Daniel and his team sprinkled all sorts of extra help and kind words throughout the experience and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. We will be back to stay at the cabins and fish, and to celebrate future anniversaries!

I have been traveling to the Kenai Peninsula from Tennessee for work since 2011 and I can say without a doubt that the Lodge at Lone Moose is my favorite place I have ever stayed by far. I wish I would have found it earlier. Needless to say this is where I will stay every time I can. Daniel is a great host. Cabin is very clean and has everything I need. TV perfect for watching football. Last trip snow was falling and I was posted up on the couch watching some NFL. Almost felt guilty on a business trip. I would highly recommend!

This is a super clean and quaint place to stay. We would have rated a 5 star, but on arrival, all windows were open, heat off and only 42 degrees in the cabin! Took a bit to heat up- thankfully there was a space heater! |This is great for 2-3 people. Very clean and comfortable. Enough coffee pods and creamer for a few days which is great. If you like fresh towels everyday, plan on doing laundry at their on site facility. They do have soap and a good hair dryer. |We will definitely stay again!

We had our wedding at Lone Moose this summer and it was truly the best experience. The venue is beautiful, and everyone was so helpful and nice. We had the ceremony outside on the lawn and the reception in the Lodge. We are from out of state, and it really gave our guests the Alaskan feel. The river nearby is so blue and was a great spot for photos. The venue had lots of complimentary items to use and that was so helpful. I would highly recommend Lone Moose for any event needs, and we hope to visit in the future to stay at their cabins! Thank you for making our wedding a day to remember!

We rented this whole space for a family reunion for 49 people. Daniel, Josh and others were fabulous to work with. They were extremely accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. The facility is beautiful, in a convenient location and worked wonderfully for our mix of families. I can ditto what others have said about the clean space and cabins, activities available, and the river accessibility. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living with the lodge's garage doors, heaters on the deck and ability to close them and use the lodge when it was chilly. If you need a space for a large gathering (or a weekend getaway) we can definitely recommend this venue. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

We rented the whole Lone Moose Lodge facility (lodge, cabins, and RV/camping spots) for our fall wedding weekend this year, and it was an absolute dream. They have everything you could possibly need for a wedding - EVERYTHING! The facility and surrounding area is beautiful, you can tell they take pride in this venue. We loved that our guests got to stay at this place for the whole weekend and that there was something for everyone (games, fishing from the bank, fire pits, etc.), it makes for a very unique experience. Beyond all that, Daniel, Chrissy, Danika and Josh were so fantastic to work with. They all were so responsive, helpful and made us feel very welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough - one of my all time favorites!!

My husband and I stayed in a cabin for 9 nights during a retreat event. It was the ideal venue for our gathering, conducive to socializing but still private enough to make everyone happy. ||Our cabin and the lodge rate 5 stars all the way! The whole property is beautiful, with rustic yet luxurious Alaskan digs. The owners, Daniel and Chrissy, and staff went above and beyond to make sure our event went well. They were fabulous -- attentive, caring, quietly working in the background to make our event a success. They even hosted a wonderful cookout at the beginning and again at the end of our event.||The location of Lone Moose Lodge is ideal -- nestled in the quiet woods on the bank of the amazing Kenai River, yet convenient to everything. ||We highly recommend Lone Moose Lodge!

Great place. My daughter had her wedding here so my family rented a cabin. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were well kept and staff was amazing extremely helpful. Most definitely would stay here again
