Comfort Inn Chandler - Phoenix South I-10

My Husband and I stood at this hotel for a night's rest from traveling through the Phoenix area. When we arrived the front desk receptionist, IIaksh was very friendly and helpful. She immediately checked us in. When we got to our room we noticed it was a good size room and clean. We slept well. We didn't hear any outside noise. So it was very enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the comfort inn Chandler location and upon check in with front desk representative Arin was extremely polite and friendly getting us checked in quickly and explained everything we needed to know and told us about the breakfast. She made sure our service was taken care of at request. During our stay the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was better than most continental hotels I've stayed at in the past! Will stay again 100%. Over all was extremely Satisfied and loved the above and beyond super helpful representative at front desk Arin. She made my stay very pleasant!

Update: I had a follow up with the manager who checked me in at the hotel, he was very professional and took 100% ownership for the misunderstanding. I was able to receive a full explanation of what occurred, which makes me understand it was just an accident. It was throughly explained that it was just an incident that would not occur again, and I will be getting a refund for the night I did not stay. I did provide some feedback to the manager, explaining that incidents like this can happen due to human error and that is ok, they just have to provide more ownership and peace of mind when the issue was reported The manager prompted he will be taking action to improve this. I had decided to update my review because with this ownership of the incident by the hotel manager, I cannot in good conscious give a bad review, aside from the incident, the rooms were really clean, the manager has always been great, and the location is good! Original Post: To anyone staying here think twice about this location. I had an insane experience on 3/7/2025 in regards to safety at this location. I booked two nights 03/07/2025 and 03/08/2025. I came in an hour early for check in and the person at the front desk (I did not catch his name) was super pleasant and accommodating to allow me to check in 1 hour early before I picked up my partner at the airport. We were checked in room 416 and everything went as normal. After I picked up my partner we came back for a short period of time then left out to explore the city and did not come back until later that night. All of the times we entered either via the back entrance (near elevator) or the side door as it was more convenient both times. That night when we arrived around 10 PM if I recall correctly, we went to sleep. I always engage the hinge lock before going to sleep We were woken up around 2 AM by multiple banging in our doors by the door hitting the hinge lock from someone trying to get it in our room, when awaken and realized what was going on I yelled out in order to scare the person away. It was evident that the person trying to get in had card access, was able to open door and stopped by the hinge lock. Had it not been for the hinge lock they would of been able to get in. I immediately called the front desk (less than a minute after the incident) and the person who answered the phone was very short and did seemed to already know the issue being the person who checked us in did not properly register us to the room. A few issues with this call at night: - The front desk person who answered at 2 am was very short and unbothered by allowing strangers to potentially being able to get in our room -The individuals who attempted to enter our room tried multiple times to get in when it was evident that the hinge lock was engaged (can only be done if someone is inside) The entire situation was unpleasant and did not feel safe, me and my partner decided the next day to change our reservation to a different hotel and did not stay the additional night at this hotel. The next morning when checking out the lady at the front desk (layla) was not very helpful would not allow for the refund of the night that we refused to stay in due to safety violations She stated there was no notes about the incident which is super sketchy. Tried calling today 3/11/2025 to get resolution did not get an answer. Beware to anyone staying here, this hotel did not feel safe!!!! and to add insult to injury they are not reaching out nor do they seem to care about this at all.

Asked and received an ADA room. Not sure who designed this room, but large bathroom with bars is great. A tub to step over to use the shower does not make any sense.|Not enough area in the room if you have wheelchair or scooter.|Great lighting, except for the charging port next to the bed only works if you have the light switch on. So you need to shuffle plugs around to figure out how to charge phone and watch overnite.

Clean and quiet. Good amenities with coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave in room. Downside is that there is not a restaurant or lounge on site. A couple restaurants nearby, about a 15 min walk. Breakfast served was disappointing, some reconstituted eggs and sausage like patties that were just weird.

I love this hotel. The service is great, the rooms, breakfast, the front desk is phenomenal. I have absolutely no complaints. My family and I are currently staying here until we find a place and I never felt so comfortable at a hotel. I would give 10 stars if I could. I also appreciate that the back stairway is always clean and smelling fresh

David was awesome at checking us in, kind, polite and smiled the whole time. Well worth the money spent. Rooms are nice too. Asked for extra blanket and towels and received them without a hassle. David is a true gentleman and representing Comfort Inn to the fullest. Thanks again for the awesomeness.

Positive: Staff was great except for the house cleaner who didn?t wait for me to get to the door and barged in to see if I wanted the room cleaned. It?s a good thing I was dressed. Negative: Only 1 small sink and the bed skirt was dirty.
