Holiday Inn Phoenix - Chandler by IHG

Super impressed with this Holiday Inn. Parking, pool, weight room, breakfast all provided for no added cost. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean - carpet does show some wear but bed was comfortable and room was spacious. We stayed on the second floor and found it mostly quiet. The Ocotillo Golf Course is across the street and provides for a great running loop- About 3.7 miles around. Highly recommended.

Perfect experience working with the Holiday Inn Chandler team on an event for our customers in the region. Malene, their event coordinator, made everything so simple and easy to manage since the beginning. Later, during the event, she managed to every single request with the best disposition. I totally recommend this hotel for any kind of event, but also to spend the night there. They have a great pool for those hot days in Phoenix… hope to have time next trip to enjoy it!

The front desk staff was very nice and not responsible for the 1 star. But they charge $15.99 for what is normally a free continental breakfast. We tried it because we didn’t want to drive anywhere. All the food was cold and sub par. No juice machine so we were served 1 glass of OJ and never saw the server again. Our room wasn’t cleaned after our first night so we had to go to front desk to get towels. I would think for the price you could get a room somewhere else and be happier

The room was good. But, I was very dissatisfied at the way that this motel nickel and dimes guest with extra charges. This is a roadside motel, not a busy downtown motel, yet they add on an additional $12 for parking!! There should not be any extra parking fee for a motel located in the suburbs, and, if they do, it should certainly be made clear on the website, rather than just at check-in. They also add an extra charge for breakfast ... not a special breakfast with menu items and table service ... just the typical motel breakfast with scrambled egg-whites and cold cereal! ||The motel is a bit run down. And, there was only a single ice machine in operation when I stayed, YET they seem to fancy themselves as an upscale motel with pricey add-ons which should be included in the price of the room.||Don't stay here, unless you like to be nickel and dimed for basic services!!

Not the newest property in Phoenix-Chandler but clean and well-kept. Affordable and friendly, beds and TV were excellent! Once in the room, I appreciated being welcomed by 'Catherine' via text who let us know she was available to take care of any questions or concerns we might have. Very nice!

The Hotel was a bit run down, but the staff was always friendly and greeted you with a smile as they put a smoking charge on your room without telling you and as a nonsmoker find this to be very poor customer service. I would make sure you check every charge after your stay if you decide to stay with this location. The GM barely responds back and when he does the most he really says is there is nothing he can do.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years because of the proximity to my customer location. However this time around I was surprised at the decline of the hotel in just a matter of a few months. There was no bar/restaurant open on site due to staffing issues; which was disappointing as I was planning to have dinner there after my evening arrival. Also the parking fee of $12/night seemed very unnecessary and also a new fee. The AC in my room was not working properly and was not cooling down however would run constantly and was very noisy. The folks working were nice and kind and helpful. Sorry to say I will have to find a new go-to hotel spot for work travel as this was simply not worth it any more.

We loved our stay! When we checked in, I told Morningstar we had a dog with us. She got us checked in and noticed when we walked in, our dog was a puppy. She had us on the 4th floor, but asked if a first floor room would be easier for potty breaks. She was absolutely fantastic during our three night stay. Connor at the front desk was also great. The staff here are top notch, and the property is beautiful. Great experience!
