Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of|excellent. From the minute we checked in, we were received warmly with joyful professional service. The room was modernly pristine, bed was comfortable, and the restaurant was good. The impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene were clearly evident throughout. The staff went above and beyond to cater to ensure utmost comfort. This hotel truly epitomizes exceptional hospitality. We strongly recommend this hotel for business around downtown. But just be aware that it is really around ASU.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and service. The Alibi upstairs is awesome. Slade was especially good with our service. The front desk was awesome. Valet quick and respectful. Alter Ego down stairs had amazing bartenders and staff. One of our favorite stays we've had. Roof top pool is gorgeous. DJ music. Views. All of it. 🤎

I booked a resort pass for a pool day with my daughter and a friend. Cole at valet was so kind and helpful! I wish I could remember the woman at the front desk that helped us because she was also awesome and helped me out because I didn’t even realize I booked the wrong dates but she was able to help me fix things. The property was beautiful, the pool service was excellent, food was great. Would absolutely do it again!

Stayed for two nights for Innings Festival. The entire hotel staff was welcoming and helpful from the front desk and valet to the bartender at the rooftop bar and hotel security who gave my wife and I a few extra minutes in the pool area to enjoy the city views. || Our room was clean and comfortable and the food from Alter Ego that we had for brunch was delicious. Our server even took pictures for us in front of the big "Welcome to Tempe" mural. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great hotel and super location for ASU events. Stayed three nights. Refused to pay $39 a night for valet parking. There is a 30 min unloading zone near the entrance and then I opted for the Church Lot at $15 for 24 hrs but states no in-out privileges. Paid via the Park Mobile app and couldn’t have been simpler. If your timing is good, you can make runs as your 24 hrs is ending and still bank savings. Only downside is that it’s uncovered.

I had the most ridiculous thing happen to me when I stayed here. When I checked out, they didn’t mention anything about anything charged to my room. However a couple weeks later I noticed that my full incidental room charge had not been returned to my card. I had to call the hotel to get the receipt to see what the issue was, and that’s when I noticed that I had been charged for $120 of food and drinks that I hadn’t eaten. Someone had ordered this and charged it to my room, and I would have been on the hook for it if I didn’t notice what they had done to the incidental hold. Even one-star hotels know how to verify room numbers with last names. I don’t know what they do here to charge meals to rooms but it’s sloppy and unprofessional. Over the next few weeks I had to repeatedly chase down the billing department over the phone to get them to return my full incidental hold. They kept not picking up the phone due to their employees not being in the office, and when I did reach someone they promised me it would be fixed but I’d check back after the deadline they mentioned and it was still not fixed. It’s a bit ridiculous I had to do all this legwork and waste so much of my own time to remind them that they had to fix this problem they created. Their employees have a good attitude and no one has been outright rude to me, but they are in general incompetent and perform their duties at their own leisure only when it’s convenient for them. In addition, the rooms are maintained poorly. The first time I stayed here, the water pooled out of the shower due to shoddy construction standards. The wooden barn door of the bathroom was cracked and splintered on the top edge and off its track. The room design is questionable. The lamps are sparse and weak, and you may require a flashlight to navigate around the room at night. The second time I stayed here, the tv wouldn’t turn off and kept blaring until a service worker came up to give me a tv remote battery replacement. Lastly, the cleanliness standards are suspect. Im always appreciative when hotels provide toiletries, but when you don’t clean it up between guests that’s a little gross. When I opened the toiletry container I found several plastic wrappers of opened and half used cotton swabs. I don’t hold any of these issues against them because sometimes shit happens, but I’ve never had a pleasant experience here and it’s adding up. It’s so easy to do better, and for some reason this hotel just can’t. If it wasn’t for my company making me stay in this hotel I’d choose just about any other option in the area, and there are plenty.

As a business traveler this an almost perfect hotel. For starters, it smells delicious! Has everything you need and has a great location with more amenities within walking distance. Easy to Uber to and from the airport. My only complaint was that the air temperature would only go down to 68 and I like to sleep colder... so it just felt a bit stuffy and hot to me.

I had an amazing experience at the Canopy by Hilton in Tempe. The great room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. The service was exceptional—the staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. One of my favorite touches was the Nespresso machine in the room, which made mornings so much better. The attention to detail throughout the hotel made it clear they prioritize guest comfort. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Tempe. I’ll definitely be back!
