I can overlook the peeling wallpaper, the hairs in the bath and on the floor, the kissing lips prints on the sliding glass door, the small appliances covered in dust, the lovely towel they left for me, but I can't get past the disgusting carpet. It hadn't been properly vacuumed in a long time. Hard dry food all around the fridge, along the baseboards, under the table, and pretty much all over. That's just pure laziness on the housekeeping part. I just can't believe a corporate hotel like this would let this pass. I can say that the man at the front desk check-in was very pleasant and professional. 5☆ for him.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Most important to me is that things work, that they are clean, they comfortable, and the shower is hot. I would of like to have used the hot tub & the sauna. Reviews said they were down . I didn’t think to bring a bathing suit on the truck with me. I wasn’t planning on going to a hotel or to the beach. I wish every hotel had dry sauna and sauna a wet hot tub and pool. I’m OK with it looking older. I’d rather it look like that and they do a good job cleaning and taking care of things. Too long I’ve paid outrageous property taxes for our schools to look manicured, and very nice while the functional use was lacking, and our kids did without what they needed. I’m tired of vets having beautiful businesses that they pass that cost onto me. I’m done with the fancy looks, it only hides their deception until it’s too late. I’ve stayed at high end hotels and got awful service, crappy beds, noisy people, rude staff. In Gunnison, CO I had booked ahead of time a very luxurious room but when I got there they wouldn’t take me because my husband’s credit card was used to purchase the room for my girls trip. I had a credit card and a bank card but it wasn’t in the same name as the booking. So I went to hotel 6 and loved it. My room was bright, roomy, freshly remodeled. I stay there at that hotel 6 again. I’m shocked at how truck drivers are treated. I loved that I got a spot to park the truck. Not everyone can say they own 2 homes and they are in different states, I can, but people assume I’m a truck driver I’m a low life. Looks aren’t everything people.

Positive: Location was the best thing about it. No Kleenex. No Washcloths. They said they were "out" for 2 days.Employees were nice enough, but no results. Negative: We asked for a washcloth 2 times, then bought one ourselves. They said they didn't have any. The "Grab & Go" breakfast was always gone. Even when we got there early. The rooms need upgrading. Our blinds were broken & we couldn't shut them.

Nothing worked in the room. No outlets worked, Tv remote didn’t work. The place is completely run down. No lights in parking area very dark. No security on site. Also told that they don’t have towels when I asked. I asked to change the room because no outlets were working and was told it’s not available. Very poor service and experience all around. I would rather pay few dollars more and go to a decent place.

Had to wait past check in time at the Yuma location. While the room was clean it’s very dated and as soon as you walk in you get the smell as such. Phone was blinking for a message but the front desk couldn’t clear it and did not know how to tell me to do it; unplugged it. Air conditioner whines when you turn it on to keep you awake at night. Only two towels and when I called the front desk for more was told they were short of towels, like that is my problem! All in all, find another hotel as this one isn’t worth any amount!

Room dated, smoke detector had a piece of plastic fully taped on and around it, there was only one towel in the room, no soap at all. Curtains to balcony we're hanging half off and tacky, bathroom tiles on floor cracked, beds comforter stained just a mess, door had no latch to lock it just wow. This place needs a thorough remodel and update paid 125$ for a shack of a room. Only thing ok was the fridge and microwave.

We have opted to stay at Shilo Inns in Yuma several times in the past. Typically because of the competitive price, pet friendly status (and their pet fee is reasonable $15) and its close proximity to the Palms shopping center. This was the first time in a year, and may well be our last. Front desk staff was wonderful, as has always been our experience. The room however, not so much. Not sure if the air conditioning doesn’t work or is set, but room stayed very warm all night. Wallpaper is peeling badly. Worst was there was only two towels. My husband showered first and grabbed the top one on the rack to dry himself. He didn’t realize until he was using it how dirty it was. We don’t know if it was stained that badly and just reused or if it was a dirty towel that had been refilled and put up on the rack. Either way, it was pretty appalling and needless to say he was not amused.

Booked a room for the night because they had a jacuzzi. After dinner at the Angry Crab next door (3.5 stars), we decided to take a dip in the jacuzzi. It was totally green and disgusting. The gates were locked. The room and bed are cozy and clean. They provide 4 pillows for a king but only 2 towels, which was weird. No wash clothes. It's weird because the vanity-sink is in the room, separate from the shower and toilet room. So naturally, you'll need towels. There is a desk, microwave and frig which is nice. The outside looks dirty, maybe scary upon arrival... but it's nice once inside. The young girl, in a hoody, at the front desk was nice. If you are coming for the pool or jacuzzi, don't! We're trying to get a refund. If you don't care about the pool or jacuzzi, these rooms are 3 ☆.
