A place of serenity and tranquility. My cousin and I came here to decompress and reset. The hotel is the first certified wellness hotel in the world. They have a biodynamic garden. From this garden they make their tea bath bags, oils and honey. The have a frog sanctuary where you can enjoy your afternoon or morning tea. Breakfast is included with healthy options (honey also from the hotel). They have a complimentary honey and olive oil tasting on weekends by appointment. The hotel is walkable to shops and restaurants. It’s eco friendly. I loved the white noise choices for sleep (I chose ocean waves). One can participate in mindful art- painting rocks or making a little succulent garden to take home. Property allows you to take yoga mats - do you can meditate or do yoga at the beach. The lounge had a wellness snack bar until 6 pm with nuts, fruit, tea and pickled veggies. Inn at moonlight beach is a nice relaxing getaway. A wonderful trip to detox and rejuvenate.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Inn at Moonlight Beach! Everyone we came across, staff and other guests included, were extremely friendly and kind. Other reviewers said it was a great spot to relax and reset, and they were 100% right. We explored the grounds and foraged to make a salad, created our own succulent garden to take home, and used the soaking tub both nights of our trip. What a magical, healing, and relaxing escape! We can't wait to come back and bring some friends along!

Wow what an amazing experience staying at The Inn at Moonlight beach. It totally exceeded my expectations when I planned a weekend trip here with my mother. There is so much thought and attention to detail with every nook and cranny here. Such an intentional space that puts guest experience first and gets you fully immersed into relaxation.||We very much enjoyed the Sage room balcony, the garden to harvest your own salad. The creativity center, the wellness tea, and the tea flower bath.||We also had massages which were wonderful from Komala and Yumi. I very much hope to return to this special place.

Hotel is cute. Staff are friendly. The website presents the hotel as more upscale than it is in person. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel sits on a main street and train track. We were not bothered by this as some guests seem to have been. The parking is indeed difficult regardless of whether you park by the back door or on the steep driveway where you must parallel park. There are cute perks such as tea service in your room, bath salts and floral/herbal bath sachets (which did not smell good at all), crystals and fresh flowers. Upon arrival we were given a check list for breakfast which was promised to be delivered in a picnic basket at our door. Cute. Well..the basket contained glass jars with an unpeeled hard boiled egg, a trader joe's granola bar - which did not have "clean ingredients", overnight oats - which I'm guessing was a dried Trader Joe's packet, a whole avocado - still with the sticker still on in which was NOT organic, and a green juice again from TJs not freshly juiced. Additionally the tea packets in the room were Twinnings which is NOT a clean brand. If you're selling yourself as a health and wellness property you should not be serving non organic, store bought items. This was disappointing. At $300/night it was fine. I see no need to return to this property.

I cannot begin to describe how amazed I am by this boutique hotel. They thought of everything, from the organic garden where you can forage your own vegetables to the architecture and zen of the grounds. I’ve never been a place where I felt at home as soon as I stepped in. My favorite little detail was when we opened our door in the morning breakfast basket waiting for us at the doorstep. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. I will be back soon

Most serene magical place to stay. So many small details in the room that make you feel so welcomed. Filtered water, fresh herb garden that you can pick from, delivered breakfast basket, breathtaking views, scented oils infusing, tea light candles, fresh organic tea… all and more. This is a must visit!!! Absolutely loved it here.

very fun eco amenities - both complimentary and for sale. Art supplies, beach supplies, yoga supplies, all up for grabs anytime. I got the cheapest room with no balcony or add ons but it still felt like an oasis with bath soaks, aromatherapy, sound machine, and candles. All the complimentary snacks and drinks were great too. Very pretty and serene grounds although it is a bit loud at night (they provide earphones and sound machine). Would stay again

This is such a beautiful place to stay. So intentional, so thoughtful, so peaceful. The staff (stefanie in particular) were thoughtful to every need and detail. We left better than we came. The room is so quiet and relaxing, and it’s wonderfully situated; we walked down to the beach for a gorgeous walk and then the farmers market. Highly recommend.
