NillThe blue cell was just perfect. The room was great. We had room 115 and I had a very nice balcony and fireplace. The bed was a little too firm for me and the bathroom can use a little updating but that’s just nitpicking all around great stay I would definitely stay here again the staff was great and very friendly

NillI wanted to plan a special mom/daughter trip to Morro Bay. I chose the Blue Sail Inn because we could get a room with a balcony and a great view. I reserved their "deluxe king ocean view" room because it had a balcony and "stunning panoramic views". When I reserved the room, I mentioned I was wanting a great view of the ocean and Morro Rock. When we were checking in (just after check-in time) I asked if our room had a great view and was assured that we would be getting a perfect panoramic view of the ocean, Morro Rock, and the beautiful sunsets. When we got to the room, we had a great view of a TREE, unless we stood in the far corner of the balcony, where we could get a view of the rock. This room was almost $60/night more expensive than the room without the "view". Also, we interacted with 2 different people in the office. One was nice (but lied about the view), and the other was not friendly at all. I suggest not wasting your money on the rooms with the "view" at Blue Sail Inn. I have stayed at The Landing in the past and been much happier.

NillWe came down to Morro Bay to celebrate my husbands birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly face, who told us about local hotspots and yummy food. Lisa was the woman that checked us in and she made the hotel feel so cozy and welcoming. We checked out the spots she recommended and had a great time! We filled out the little paper for breakfast and it was very easy, but after the first morning we decided we wanted to check out local restaurants. The breakfast they offered was a variety of prepackaged pastries and granola bars and a drink like orange juice or apple juice. It was fine for throwing in the backpack and enjoying a snack later but if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast I suggest a local restaurant. Our view was spectacular, it was close and accessible to everything downtown, and walking distance to the bars. Parking was a breeze. And! In the mornings there’s a beautiful friendly cat that welcomes you into the lobby😁 It was perfect. Blue Sail really made our stay extra enjoyable. We absolutely will be coming back!!

★★The front desk ladies were very helpful, the house keeping was very very good and the ladies were very helpful. |However, the maintenance of the rooms was horrendous, we had to move to a new room because the ceiling was dripping water and you could tell this was not the first leak, room 214. In the new room, 208, the security lock was broken and had not been replaced, the heater did not work, and the shower did not come fully on, water continues to run out of the faucet. |Since everyone wants to conserve water why don't you have a circulating pump for the hot water, not wasting water waiting for hot.

NillRooms are very spacious and clean. Toiletries are trial size. Elevator available. Parking is convenient. Hotel is close to restaurants. Morro rock is visible from hotel. Hotel grounds is very clean. Room doors have to be secured when leaving the room as the door does not close completely. Room has a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. It also has an emergency flash light.

NillMy mother and I just stayed at the Blue Sail Inn and couldn't be more pleased. We had a room that overlooked the Rock and the Bay. The rooms were nice, clean and welcoming. The staff couldn't be nicer. Anything you need, they're there for you. They also offer a bag of to go breakfast that was perfect to start your day! You're within walking distance of the embarcadero, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Blue Sail Inn.

★★★★★This was the first time we stayed at the Blue Sail Inn and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were very large, everything was clean and in working order. I liked that the balcony was pretty large also with a table and chairs out there. The view of the Rock is perfect and there is a very good place to eat next door called Dorn's. We will stay here again when coming to Morro Bay!
