La Serena Inn

La Serena Inn was an awesome place to have a 3day weekend. So close to the beach and all of the main restaurants and shopping areas in town. The staff was unbelievable with their customer service and doing everything in their power to make my stay and trip a success. Special thank you to the front desk for helping me with my room sotuation. I have never had such a great customer service experience before. 5 stars all the way! The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good to start everyday.

We had a great 4-day weekend stay! There was one breakfast monitor who was a bit grouchy (mainly over how to use the waffle station) but other than that, one of our best stays I've ever had in a Morro Bay hotel(and I've been coming here for 44 years). Extremely clean and updated, smelled amazing. Friendly staff. The renovators were extremely courteous, so not sure why people are complaining about that. May be just the luck of where they were at in the process during our stay. The bed did take about the third night to get accustomed to, but not awful. Our bed at home is just super forgiving. We will DEFINITELY stay here again! The value with breakfast included--no one in the area can compete with this place! 🙏🏼

Travelled in October 2023 with another couple. Nice motel, clean and comfortable but the town was amazing. Walked out to Morro Rock, lots of sea lions and otters. Beautiful little town, wish we had more than 1 night there. Would love to go back.

Everything was great! We haven’t stayed there in a few years so the upgrades were a surprise and it looked great! The cleaning staff and Adrianne were amazing! So kind, welcoming, and professional. I would only suggest adding some elevator music and scrambled eggs for the breakfast but other than that, practically perfect. We’ll be returning soon!

We loved our stay! The location is perfect... Walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. It's all updated and very clean. We loved that the room had a refrigerator with a separate freezer section so we could have ice cream :) The only thing that we didn't like was the mattress... Very squishy and woke me up everytime my husband moved. But literally everything else was great and we'll be coming back for sure!

Every single staff member we met on our trip was beyond sweet and helpful. We loved our stay and this place. Thank you so much for making our family vacation that much sweeter. We can’t wait to visit again and stay here

Close to everything. We had the king suite with rock view. Great private deck. Natalie was great and made check in a breeze

I had a fabulous 7 night stay here! Everything was perfect. Beautiful view, comfortable bed, and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Adrian who checked me in and helped me throughout the week was so kind and efficient, she went way above and beyond to provide excellent service. My only complaint was the price she quoted me for the additional two nights I added on was not honored by the management when I checked out. I was told that I could have the price quoted but that Adrian would lose her job and face charges. Of course I didn’t want this to happen to her. Bad ending to a great stay ☹️
