Such a beautiful part of the world with one of the most stunning sun sets we've ever seen. The hotel felt like it was brand new. The rooms are spacious yet cozy. Terrific location, right in the heart of the town and close to shops and restaurants. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and all our meals were great. Best place to stay in Morro Bay. Oh and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and lovely

The Anderson Inn provides a wonderful lodging experience located on the harbor in Morro Bay. The attention to detail and stellar service makes this one of our favorite places to stay in the Central Coast. |The room was clean and bright with comfortable bedding and seating. We were in the Portside room which faces the harbor. This room included a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. The balcony provided excellent views of the Morro Rock, sea lions and was a great spot to watch the otters. I highly recommend this property.

We only stayed here for one night on our road trip down the length of California, but it was actually our favourite stop of the entire 16 days.||What an absolutely gorgeous little gem of a place. It was our wedding anniversary and we were so glad we spent it here. We stayed in the room pictured i think, the corner one with a balcony over the sea and another window facing the rock and chimneys. It was super comfy, stylish and the whirlpool bath was great. We ate downstairs at the Galley restaurant and that was lovely too. In fact Morro Bay in general was one of our favourite places to travel through. ||I particularly like the fireplace which you 'light' by simply flicking a switch! Why don't we have these in the UK????? I'd have one in every room of my house if i could!

Our three night stay at the Anderson Inn could not have been better. The room was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. The staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. It is a small inn on the harbor, with good parking. Our balcony had a view of Morro Rock, and just about everything in town is within walking distance, including excellent restaurants.

The Anderson Inn is the perfect place to stay in Morro Bay!Located right on the waterfront with great views, the rooms have been beautiful updated. Everything was perfect - from the cozy fireplace/heater, soft robes, quality bedding - the paint, lighting, flooring were like new! It is located near many restaurants and shopping, surfing and hiking! Can’t wait to go back!!

We were here for the annual Morro Bay Witch Paddle. Room was nice and clean with comfy chairs and lots of room to rest or get ready for event. Nice to see Rock right from our balcony.|Front Desk helped us with assured parking for our vehicle with kayak and paddleboard. And also info about restaurants, etc. Very nice. |Access to the strand waterway was an exra plus for us. Great time, nice place,.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and the hotel left us a note and gave us a free bottle of champagne! We chose the port side room and it was right over the water. We saw and heard sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters every day and witnessed some amazing sunsets! The room was nice and the bathroom was big with a jet tub and a stand up shower. It was also in the perfect location near restaurants, coffee shops, and plenty of water activity rental companies. I highly recommend treating yourself to staying at the Anderson Inn! All of these photos and videos were taken from our balcony
