Hotel Circle

The river Leaf is the worst hotel experience or motel experience I think I've ever had and that's saying quite a bit. we paid in advance for two nights and then we extended our stay twice and we told them that we would most likely be extending our stay again. Our house burnt up and we had a lot of things to deal with. So we realized we weren't going to make it in time to check out so we called in the morning to extend our stay for one more night. We weren't at the motel we had been at our house since the early early morning hours emptying out the garage and getting the remaining items that hadn't been destroyed in the fire into our U-Haul. First they put us on hold for over 20 minutes until we finally hang up. And then we called back and then they put us on hold again for another 20 minutes I'll need to come back on the phone and tell her sorry that they had rented our room out and we couldn't extend our stay. Who rent a room at while someone. Who rent a room out while someone is still in it? we explained our situation and they were incredibly rude so I ended up driving my scooter over there. They refuse to even speak to me in a civil tone they were the rudest most unprofessional people I'd ever run across in a motel hotel setting. By now it's 11:00 it's check out time so I started emptying my room at by myself. I had everything packed and sitting on the walkway and I carried it down to the elevator to the bottom floor. That's my for small dogs and all of our belongings that we had in the room a mind you I left the room absolutely clean all they had to do is put clean sheets on the bed and clean the bathroom. I take the trash out I took the sheets off the bed for them it was it was nothing wrong in that room at all. Now there was a gentleman in the parking lot that came up to me and told me that they've done the same thing to him before he goes with it because they have another room here I'll show you he pulled it up on his phone and I ended up paying over the Internet for a room for that night. I went up to the office I explained to them that I pay for a room and that I'd like to be able to move into that room they told me I had to wait till 3. That's all they said I had to wait till 3 so that's what I did and exactly three I went back up to the office window and ask them what room number they were assigning me. That's when they decided to tell me they couldn't rent to me because I took too long to check out of the last room. I tried to explain to them call me that was because I didn't know that I had to check out they got very rude told me they were going to call the police on me and then told me they would refund my money. They didn't call the police and they've never refunded my money. These people are sketchy and underhanded and their Motel has gone downhill it's dirty and there's all kinds of sketching people everywhere. I wouldn't rent there again to save my life I'd sleep in my car first. If I could give zero stars or minus Stars I would. Rent at your own risk at this place

Was not thrilled at all even for good price ..no mic ,water in the shower was a trickle.and the sink was stopped up.

hotel circle in general if you're not a long distance skateboarder is not a good place to be there's no food available no convenience stores there's one liquor store on the south side and it is highly overpriced. but if you take the other side of hotel circle and skateboard down towards fashion valley it's really good skating in the fashion valley parking lots early morning 2:00 a.m. status

My twin daughters, who are going to be 12 in March, and I stayed at Riverleaf hotel in hotel circle just to get out of the house and do something different than watch movies on the TV. Unfortunately we stayed at a tweaker hotel. Not much to brag about we brought food to save some money but the microwave was on the second floor and we were on the fourth. There was not even a microwave in our room. Plus because of that epidemic the spa and pool were closed but yet we're opened at the hotel across the street? The room was clean at least and there were lots of channels to watch so at the end of day we stayed in and watched TV. I could have saved $80 and stayed home though????

Riverleaf Hotel. Recently remodeled. Looks great. Love the colors. Very friendy staff. I have stayed here several times and will continue to return. Its a bargain versus the franchise hotels which can be over $100 a night. Close to Old town San Diego, Sea World, Mission Bay parks and the beach.

Where I stayed, The Riverleaf inn was very quite and safe with gated free parking for guests.

Love this telly they give you your privacy the rooms are decent prices and during the week it's even more inexpensive .....I love it here .had a great experience.. when I'm here I always get two rooms .
