Sheraton San Diego Resort

I love this hotel. It’s in a perfect location, restaurants are great, and I had the BEST French dip I’ve EVER had at Rumorosa. The pools are great, pool side games were fun, beautiful area to walk around, sit at a fire pit, or play a round of basketball or tennis. I heard there were s’more’s but we never say them, next time! We came for a stay-cation to celebrate our kids birthdays and they had a blast. Rooms are pretty, especially the newly renovated ones. I’ve also been here solo & it was great!

Overall a great hotel. The location is conveniently located a short car or uber ride from little Italy, downtown, the zoo and of course the marina. Check in was fast and convenient. Self parking is expensive at 50 per day, but it’s expensive everywhere in San Diego. The central bar closed early every night around 10:30 pm which was strange since it was so busy. The X burger bar and restaurant stayed open late. The beer was good but every meal we had came out like warm at best, which was disappointing because the flavor and quality was there. Everyone we talked to had the same experience. Loved the bikes that are included with your use fee, one hour free each day. Pools were nice and you can’t beat the views.

I was impressed. The property is clean, modern, and great amenities. I was here for a conference so didn’t eat in the restaurants but the conference food was good. Gym was great. Nice pools. Not a beach hotel. And nothing at all in walking distance. I probably wouldn’t stay here on vacation due to its location but still I was impressed. Beautiful views from the rooms of the marina and San Diego skyline. Usable balconies. Even though it is by the airport there wasn’t any noice. There is a very nice walkway along the water for a casual stroll or a jog. Be ware of the resort fee which really is a money grab with no value.

Very nice new feeling hotel within a stone’s throw to the airport and directly on the marina with pretty views from all directions. A full service hotel in all aspects. Hotel shuttle to airport is very well managed. Cons: Water pressure is low in the rooms and cleanliness of the room scores a B+.

I came here for a business trip and the service was great. Rooms were very clean, people were very helpful and respectful. I left my room key in the room and they wasted no time in making sure I got a replacement right away. This was my first time in California ever, and they made it very nice. Great food too!

The stay was great. I honestly enjoyed the views and the atmosphere. I thought I heard elephants during my stay, which was odd. Donna, the best manager I've ever met(and most beautiful), assured that everything would be fine. And with her green eyes I felt comforted. We had great conversation. I gave her a home made cookie and I hope she liked it.

We stayed overnight at this hotel and we had chosen it because of the free airport shuttle. What we found out later was that the hotel offered a free shuttle both ways to local restaurants. That was really helpful! The room was beautiful; very spacious with a lovely view of the harbor. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Lots of choices and the food was delicious.
