NillStayed here during a trip throughout the state. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at on this trip, this hotel had the best breakfast hands down. They had a varied menu everyday and offered fresh salsa and cheese to add onto the eggs, which was delicious! This hotel was in walking distance to other eateries for the other meals and a short drive to the pier/convention center/Petco Park. The rooms were just okay, definitely could use some updating. We had a room with a balcony that over looked the harbor, which was very very cool! It was a nice place to hangout and watch the sunset and see all of the boats coming in. The slider, however, was not very well insulated, so we could hear a lot of what was going on outside. The bathroom was a little small and cramped, but the rest of the room was very spacious. We arrived around 7pm and had to wait quite some time at the front desk before finding someone to check us in. The man who checked us in said very little to us and had headphones in, which I have never seen before. It would have been nice to have his full attention. The woman who check us out was great! Very pleasant and smiley, quite opposite from the nighttime person. I would stay here again, solely for the balcony views and excellent breakfast.

★★★★★Nice, clean hotel with a great balcony near the harbor. This was our first visit to San Diego. We enjoyed our king room on one of the upper floors, although only 1 elevator worked during our stay. Breakfast was pretty standard but definitely added some value to our stay. Parking was a bit tight, but again was part of the added value of the property since it was free. Many places to eat within easy driving distance, and a few within walking distance. Housekeepers were friendly and efficient. Would recommend a stay here.

NillHotel was good enough to stay a 2 or 3 nights. It was very clean . We got a room on the side with a small balcony with brick wall not very useful sure the front one with a view would be good .Free parking was great. Location was good . Had restaurants and shops in walking distance. We made use of the laundry which was handy . Staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was good had everything needed with menu changing daily . The water wasn’t very easy to turn on for the shower . The bed felt old and broken in places and my partner and I woke up both mornings with a sore body .

★★★★Free parking and free breakfast were two big reasons for my choice of this stay. Location was also another reason. I needed something close to the airport as my original plans needed me close to a military base and the airport to return my car.|It is across the street from the harbor. The best views may be only from Harbor View rooms. I chose a standard accessible room so the balcony outside my room would only have been ideal if I wanted fresh air over a view.|The property is dated but the room was clean that allowed me to feel safe and comfortable.|The main issue was my room was freezing! Even after airport turned off the AC, the switch to heater didn't make a difference. Thankfully, because I knew of the TJMaxx nearby, I was able to find a perfect blanket to add to the layers of blankets they already had in my room.|The breakfast was OK for which I got to experience two days in a row.|The front desk staff was pleasant. The lobby is pretty and inviting to relax.|The room I stayed was tiny, but still ideal for my needs on the short stay.|I appreciated the fact the hotel kept fresh fruit for breakfast. I meant to ask the staff for their old bananas to take with me to make bread after leaving (haha). Seriously...|Not sure what they did with the old bananas as the pile was gone in less than a day. Hopefully they're not just disposed and donated somewhere for good use.|The front desk clerk who greeted me at check in was sweet. As a travel professional, I appreciate they were diligent in confirming my ID for the rate of stay.|I'm guessing the cost to stay here is likely 50% more otherwise.|A few guests mentioned they were repeat guests at this place, which is a good sign.|I don't think I'd afford the stay otherwise. It was ideal for the price I wanted to pay.

★★★★This good hotel has an excellent location on Avenue N Habour, two blocks from the harbor. .|It is an old hotel but with regular maintenance, but it could be improved. |The rooms are a good size and I stayed with my family in a room with a harbor view, which although it costs more, it is worth it for the beautiful view. |The hotel offers basic services, including free parking and free hot breakfast. |In front of the hotel in the harbor there are several good restaurants, including Pizza Nova with excellent pizzas and pastas.

★★★★Because of its location and value, this has become our go-to hotel in San Diego. The rooms are always clean, and most days housekeeping will make up the bed and freshen up the room while you're out. Staff works hard to make this place great, especially the folks at breakfast and in housekeeping. Every room has a balcony, though we've learned that very few have really great views. Even some of the harbor view rooms are partially blocked by stairways. It's an older property, but well maintained. AC and hot water are reliable, Wi-Fi is fast. Two things that make this BW stand out in Point Loma are free parking and free breakfast. Both are crowded, but this can be a huge savings for travelers on tight budget. This is value hotel, and even for BW, the rooms are pretty basic. You won't be in the room much though, as you can walk to shops, restaurants, and Shelter Island.

NillThe location was good. Close to the harbour and a nice walk along the beach. There was a Grocery store and some restaurants within walking distance. A couple of nice beaches, the city centre the airport and the Cabrillo national monument were only a short drive away. There was free parking. The room was spacious and clean. There were complimentary products such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There was a rather large fridge. Two double beds which were comfortable, although a little bit to the hard side. The breakfast room was a bit boring. It looked worn, and plates, cutlery and cups were disposable. We were however pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which was good quality with plenty of choice. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a heated pool and jacuzzi which were very nice when the evening got a bit chilly.

NillPros: Close to the airport. Free parking Close to restaurants Beautiful views Close to the water Good room rates Nice balcony Cons: Small room Hard pillows Hard bed Bathtub/shower very slow to drain Very short toilet Breakfast was not very good. All the food products presented were highly processed. I did enjoy the vibe of the area that the hotel was in but didn't like the traffic.
