Country Inn Santa Rosa

Truth is we didn't stay in this hotel, our plans had changed. However the gentleman who took our reservation and later assisted us in cancelling was very supportive and helpful. With a foreign accent, his kindness made me think of how rude many in the service industry have become. If more people in the world would be kind to each other, what a wonderful world it could be. For this reason I give this hotel 5 stars.

I remember staying here about 20-25 years ago (not sure if the name is still the same) and it was pretty rundown and seedy. After staying here again recently I was pleasantly surprised. It's quaint, quiet, and clean. All of the rooms come with mini fridge and microwave. Front staff is pleasant and efficient. Santa Rosa Marketplace is directly across the street as is The Grog Shoppe. Applebee's and In 'n' Out can be walked to... among many others. The cleaning ladies can be a little aggro the closer it gets to checkout time but who can blame them? You can check in at 1pm here. I'll be going back.

Basic, nice staff, clean and neat, and safe. area around the hotel was safe. We were able to walk a block for fast food. The manager was friendly and helpful. We had just left a terrible corp. hotel down the road, and this was truly a pleasant difference from the previous accommodation. It a good place to stay when visiting wonderful Sonoma County CA.

Room is pretty run down. Here for a quick night so it'll do. I should have stayed at the La Quinta inn for a few bux more.

2024 - This is a great place. Very nice owners, a pool, good bed & the quietest place I have been in, in 2 weeks. If going north & area has traffic, turn into Sonic/KFC & then exit right.

My stay at the country inn was very nice. Very clean , great house cleaning, surrounding grounds kept clean x I stay there frequently as I am on rhe road alot and have always been very comfortable , plus the location is in the middle of food and shopping great location
