Marina Bay Cottages

What a beautiful place to unwind for a few days. I had business in the area and decided to stay for the weekend. The location was quiet and lovely, and the cottage had everything I needed. Philippe helped me pick the perfect cottage and then made sure I was comfortable.

What more could I ask for. I had business in the area (Groton, but close enough to Hartford too) and decided to extend for a few days. I wanted a relaxing and quiet place to work for a few days and into the weekend. The cottages with the screened in porches were perfect. I also can see this being a great stop for anyone doing an East coast road trip.

Not quite sure where the five star reviewers found these so wonderful. I’ll just say that pictures can be deceiving. Would not return there…in fact, we cut our stay short. But they did refund our money due to the circumstances we encountered.

The management bent over backwards to accommodate my last minute request to stay and provided above normal service to make this stay a most enjoyable experience. I’d highly encourage anyone to stay here. Easily accessible to everything Niantic.

We am from the area and came home to visit for the Thanksgiving holiday. The stay here was great. Flawless check in & check out. Our cabin was very cute! It was very clean and newly renovated. The bed and furniture were comfy. The game room was very nice and had lots to do. The Niantic Bay water views from the cabin were awesome! The location is perfect, it is close (walkable) to downtown Niantic, the boardwalk and the beach. I make frequent trips to the area and I will definitely try to stay here again. My only 2 suggestions - maybe put a small microwave in the kitchen for reheating or a quick meal, and a shelf or small cabinet in the bathroom as I had no place to put my toiletries.

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything is new and beautiful; our cottage was immaculate; Felipe, the manager was super welcoming and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The location is ideal—it’s up on a hill with views of the water. The town of Niantic is sweet and walkable with some nice restaurants. Also very close to Mystic, Old Saybrook, Essex and Old Lyme. We spent time in each! Will definitely be back!

We loved our quiet serene visit at the cottage. They were very nice to let us come early so we could get ready and make it on time to our friends wedding. It was very peaceful drinking morning coffee on the porch or in the chairs under the tree. The housekeeper was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed. I left something behind and the owners were nice enough to mail it to me. The location is perfect, try Where pigs fly for breakfast located right up the street. They have fantastic food. 5/5 would stay again!

This was such a lovely place! Guests for my daughter’s wedding stayed here; they loved it and couldn’t say enough about how quaint and clean they are! We occupied most cottages, as well as used the rec building for hair, and make up. The accommodations are updated, clean and comfortable! Felipe the manager was accommodating, communicative, very helpful and pleasant. We had a wonderful weekend!
