AC Hotel Atlanta Airport Gateway

This property WAS AMAZING. We switched over to this hotel after reading insane reviews about our aironb that we had originally booked which was 7 minutes from this hotel. I was wondering if the environment would be the same near the hotel and the dirtiness but Ac by Marriot TOTALLY EXCEEDED our expectations. We were there for a wedding and honestly our hotel was so spacious and comfortable and clean compared to the hotel the venue was at and where majority of the guests were staying--down the street. There's transportation to and from the airport and the other neighboring hotels which was so convenient for us to get to and from the wedding venue each day. The drivers were all so on point and quick. They were all so friendly even the front desk receptionists. This establishment definitely knows what they are doing. They always accommodated all our needs and I had 2 dogs with me and it was the perfect hotel for them. Everyone was so nice to them as well. Definitely would stay here again. Everything was ON POINT.

Hotel is beautiful, very clean. Beds are super comfy! Unfortunately, it did not meet all of our expectations. The free airport transfer provided is not really what we expected as you have to take a bus shuttle to the domestic airport terminal which took us almost an hour as they were VERY busy upon our arrival, and then one must take the airport skytrain to the next stop and walk 2 blocks with luggage to the hotel. In the end, it took us almost two hours to get to the hotel after clearing customs. We only had time to get a quick sleep as we got up extra early to get back to the international terminal for our next flight.

Upon my arrival, I called the number posted on the sign to request a shuttle. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with did not offer to send a shuttle, instead instructing me to walk to the stop sign, make a left, and continue down the street until I reached the hotel. Given that it was approximately 40 degrees and after 10:00 PM, this made for an uncomfortable situation. The walk was particularly concerning due to the lack of lighting along the street leading to your hotel. The path is located near a major street/highway, which added to my unease about safety during the walk. Additionally, I noticed that the sign with the shuttle number was quite small, causing me to miss it initially. To enhance the safety and convenience of your guests, I would like to suggest a few improvements: Visible Signage: Consider increasing the size and visibility of the shuttle service sign to ensure guests can easily locate it upon arrival. Shuttle Service: It would be beneficial to ensure that guests are offered shuttle services when they call, especially during late hours. Improved Lighting: Investing in better street lighting along the path from the tram to the hotel would significantly increase safety and comfort for your guests arriving at night. I believe that addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and make your hotel a more welcoming place.

Awesome! My husband and I needed a place to sleep for a few hours, and they allowed us to check in early. Very nice, clean, and quiet hotel, you can walk from the sky train or ask for a shuttle. We were gifted warm brownies and cookies on New Year’s Day. They were delicious! Everyone was super helpful and nice! Thank you! ☺️

Gave them a 5 all the way down! The rooms are very, very clean! The bar tender Tatiana was amazing! You can park your car there and they will give you a ride to the tram which goes to the airport. They will even pick you up there after you fly back to get your car. Everyone was very nice.

The rooms are clean and quiet despite the proximity to the airport. The beds were very comfortable. Know that although it is one of the gateway hotels that you can walk to from the sky train, it is about a half mile walk. They offer a shuttle from the sky train if you call. But it is not that close like the Renaissance or Marriott. As long as isn’t raining the walk isn’t bad after being on a plane.

My husband and I were allowed early check-in so that worked out perfectly. The location was basically at the airport, as well as the rental place so convenience was a big deal. The room was very modern and clean and we also noticed that despite being near the airport, you didn’t hear the planes and the cell service/wifi worked just fine. The food was amazing as well. The only drawback I’d say was the bed. Not as comfortable as I hoped but my husband didn’t see it as an issue. Will definitely be returning!

Stayed in this hotel due to Delta airlines issue, the reception, conceige and shuttle transfer staff were excellent and helpful, hotel clean and immaculate. My main issues as follows staff wise or one in particular ( very fair skinned petit) , at the bar who was very stand offish and unhelpful to the point it made my mood drop and we had to ignore her behaviour as we were tired and hungry after travelling for many hours on a very delayed flight. She seemed irritated by us requesting food and more interested in flirting with other guests who happen to be American. I would like to give all my ratings one star based on her however this would be unfair on the other staff and the facilities that made the stay accommodating. The food we had ordered was awful and barely edible and when it arrived she might as well have thrown the box at us, she gave a weak sentiment ( clearly she really did not want to) I was going to challenge her at this point however hungry and tired really just wanted to eat and rest as we had to be up in a couple of hours to complete our connection. We had received food vouchers from Delta to use in the hotel but were given incorrect information by hotel staff as to which restaurants they could be used at so we wasted much time because of this misinformation.
