Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Atlanta and want to avoid the city’s infamous traffic, the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is a perfect choice. Located just steps from the Buckhead MARTA station, this five-star hotel was a fantastic stay with easy access to the rest of the city. I’m always looking for hotels near the Marta station because Atlanta traffic is not for me. The hotel’s white marble interiors create an atmosphere of pure elegance. The service is impeccable, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. With nightly rates ranging between $500 to $700, this hotel is definitely a splurge—but one that is absolutely worth it. The fitness center is state of the art, spacious and never overcrowded. I love to be active when I travel so I look for hotels with pretty good gyms. The spa has a sauna and steam room that you can use. Love that. The hotel restaurant has a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are huge and I loved the spa tub.

My daughter and I had a one night stay booked February 6th, 2025 and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Super clean. The staff are just amazing. We had to leave early due to a death in our family and I have to shout out to the kindness of the staff especially a young man who works in valet named Jermaine. He was exceptional and so kind. He really touched my heart. He is a precious person. I spoke with Carlos the manager as well and he was beyond kind. We hope to come back this summer. Absolutely wonderful.

While staying at the Waldorf recently I visited the spa. Expecting the high level of service the brand is known for. Unfortunately, my experience was far from luxurious. During my massage, the therapist was on her phone, and at one point, it felt like I was receiving a one-handed massage. This was not only unprofessional but completely ruined what should have been a relaxing experience. I brought this to management’s attention, and while they offered me a replacement massage, I’m only in town for a few days, so this wasn’t a feasible solution. They then offered a 30% discount, which, while appreciated, didn’t feel like adequate compensation for such a disappointing experience. I expected much more from a spa of this caliber. I hope they take steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to other guests.

I am deeply disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the property was in desperate need of an upgrade. The facilities are extremely dated and feel well below the standard you would expect from a five-star establishment. ||The food was a major letdown—bland and tasteless, offering little variety or flavor. I had hoped for at least one redeeming culinary experience, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. ||During my stay, I also received a spa treatment that felt rushed and impersonal. It lacked the attention to detail and relaxation that should accompany any spa service, especially at a place that claims to offer luxury. ||Service was consistently subpar. There were multiple occasions when no valet was available to greet us or open the doors, which is a basic expectation at this level. Even worse, there was no hostess at the station when we arrived for meals, leaving us to stand around awkwardly. The staff, while polite, often seemed distracted and more interested in their phones than in providing quality service. ||Overall, the standards here are lax, and it simply does not feel like a five-star experience. I deeply regret my time here and would not recommend it to others. This stay was a real disappointment.

This is a superb Hotel. The service was outstanding. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was among the best I've ever had in a hotel anywhere. Our server Mohammed at breakfast this morning brought a smile to my face with all the things he did for me that were special. The concierge Sukru took care of our every need and concern. Everyone from the front desk staff to the Bellman to the valets has the most lovely professional attitude and we're so helpful. The room was comfortable and extraordinarily clean. We love this hotel and would return when in Atlanta.

What saves the hotel is the service and restaurant and the rooms. Which it needs because the outside environment around the pool and on verandas is utterly wrecked by the loud air units, one that sits atop what must be the restaurant, and the other stuffed into a corner near the pool. They just ruin the effect of a lovely property. What the heck were the designers thinking?||But the rooms are very nicely put together and relatively quiet, with urban noises intruding now and again. Great bed and bathroom, which is what you want. The food at the restaurant is great, as is the service. But the whole hotel excels there. Not a single bad experience, or even a hint. Got help with Ubers and restaurants and even cheerfully with extra room keys when needed. Just really extraordinary service. If not, the grounds would just kill the place. Ownership better understand what great people they have, and how near just average their hotel stands.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by bellman, Jonathan's welcoming smile. Every single interaction with the whole staff was lovely. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The meeting space was great and the food was en pointe. The entire team at Waldorf Astoria Buckhead is exceptional but a few standouts include on the Banquets team: Chef- who scrambled to make extra food for us, Ernest, Sophia, Keith, and Elena. On the sales team, Miriam and Savannah and the gracious manager, Carlos. All were fantastic to work with. Don't hesitate to book your next stay or plan your next event in Atlanta at this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

I can’t rave enough about the wonderful service here at the Waldorf. Booked a spa day and stay for my one year anniversary with my wife, and we had a great time! Our concierge Sukru had everything in order for a perfect stay. Our driver, Clinton, made sure we got safely to dinner and back while providing excellent service. The whole staff makes you feel like royalty from the moment you walk in. The only reason I can’t leave 5 stars is because of the room service. I’ve seen other complaints about the food offerings on property. My wife and I tried to order appetizers before a late dinner, and we were told it would take 20 minutes to be delivered. 1 hour later I called and they said they had no record of us ordering. After that experience we decided to take our business elsewhere for breakfast the next morning rather than doing breakfast in bed. All in all, a great experience, but food service falls very short of luxury!!
