Concorde Suites

Just made a call to ask about renting a roo That the place and I was told that they Don’t take emotionless support animals because it’s not approved. I don’t understand that. Can someone please leave me in the right way because last I was told it was against the law to deny a person a place to live because they have a motion support animal Or a animal

I having been calling there number for over a week now and no one answers the office phone there are no voice mails to be left.how can you do business if you don't answer the phone?

We stayed at this hotel when we were evacuating during a hurricane with our pets. It was impossible to get a reservation anywhere during that time. Our daughter had made a reservation for us at another hotel but when we arrived there was a sign on the door that they were closed for evacuation. We were at a total loss as to what we were going to do. We had had a terrible trip this far after having to prepare our house to evacuate so we could leave & taking what we could with us. We had pets which makes it even more difficult to get a room. One of our cats was not handling traveling well & had gotten sick in the carrier. We wanted to just get off the road at this point & were glad to get to our destination. When we realized our original hotel was closed we were getting back in our car & saw the Concorde across the road. We drove over & went into the office. The young lady at the front desk said she had two rooms left but they usually rent them for a week at a time. We told her our predicament & she said she would rent us a room for the night. We were so relieved. We should have kept driving but at that point it wasn't an option. The storm wasn't predicted to hit that area for a few days but everything around there was closing which was understandable. The room was minimally furnished but we checked out the sheets etc. to see that they were clean . It was an old hotel but it was basically clean. We took our pets inside & what we could get out of the car once we realized that maybe we weren't the safest place. Luckily we had a cooler of food & there was a refrigerator because nothing was opened in the area because everyone was evacuating. There was a small kitchenette with a frig & stove, a microwave & a table besides the bed, a dresser, a chair & a TV. The floors were bare wood. Since most people stay for a week or more no services are offered for cleaning unless you pay extra. There was the basics of life offered. We got everyone & everything situated. My husband had to go out to the car for something & when he came back in he told me about the "unsavory characters" that were also staying there & were hanging around. No one was in the office because it closes at 4:00 or 5:00 o'clock. Luckily we were very tired & were able to go to sleep right away. Surprisingly it was quiet. The bed was not very comfortable but it was clean. When we got up in the morning we couldn't wait to leave. It was only then that we realized that the office doesn't open till 9:00 & we wanted to leave early. We had paid a $50 deposit the night before & the lady who took care of us said she would refund it in the morning. There was no way we were staying till 9:00. We got on the road & called them after 9:00. There was no answer but I left a message. We never got a call back. Finally later in the day I was able to talk to someone who said they would have someone called me back. It took two days to finally talk to someone. Round & round we went & got no where. Luckily I had picked up a brochure in the lobby & it had information about their head office which was in Atlanta I believe. I talked to someone there & she said she would check into it for me. She was very nice but informed me that the young lady who had taken care of us no longer worked there. I figured we would never see that deposit but about 3 weeks later a refund check came in the mail. I have to say the young girl who checked us in & the lady I spoke to at the head office was very nice. I am sorry I have to say it isn't a good place to stay but we did not feel safe at this place at all. They had just changed over to a Concorde Suites at that time. Maybe things have changed now but this was our experience.

I've been here for a few weeks now with the plans to stay a few months. I've got nothing bad to say other than the beds are a little uncomfortable. Rooms are clean and the staff is very nice and courteous. The price is very affordable and fair for anyone looking for an extended stay. The location is def a plus being within a few red lights of any store you need and also less than 10 minutes a beach access on St Simons island. I95 is also 3 red lights away going the other direction. I would recommend Concorde Suites to anyone looking for an extended stay. An edit to my first review. I'm still staying here. No one is in the office at night if there is a problem. My key quit working the other night and I had to wait 30 min for their "on site" live in staff member to show up and let me in my room. I was trying to go out of town to see my son and couldn't. If I wasn't going out if town I couldn't have left my room because there was no one to fix my key. Also the office is closed completely during the middle of the day as well. They say it's closed when I asked for my package yet one if their employees walked out with his right in front of my face. Must just be closed for certain people. Someone needs to be there at night to do something about the noise all times of the night for people trying to actually sleep that have jobs. Basically you are on your own here. The times that there would be a problem if you work a 9-5 job I can assure you there won't be anyone there. The only plus is that it's cheap.

The rooms were clean service is good but the location is somewhat confusing as to how to get to it since there are 3 different roads to enter the businesses around it. There is no sign at entryway to tell you which one to take and it looks like all of them would work but they dont

The staff & owner have also been extremely caring & accommodating during this whole covid19 situation. They do everything they can to ensure everyone's health and safety and have also worked with residents who have been out of work due to the pandemic and therfore have financial problems right now. That speaks volumes to me. Personally I don't like when peole give negative ratings based off of experiences they had years and years ago. The staff there now changed the establishment for the better!

Where do I begin? Stay away from the place. Go somewhere else. These people are in your room more than you are, hint hint. The General Manager Robert sets false expectations, lies, and he has a nasty attitude. I visited just to see if I wanted my construction workers to stay here for a few projects that are coming up for months at a time and I must say it was very unpleasant. As a business owner that travels often, it was one of the worst experiences that I've ever had with any hotel. They constantly disrupt your sleep with inspections like it's section8 or housing, housekeepers constantly coming back and forth, and bug spraying. This place is a dump, my employees will not be staying at Concorde Suites. Can't park a certain way. They hired an annoying cop that flashes lights in your face and rides the parking lot like a prison camp. Per the GM its only so the police presence can be felt on the premises. Like seriously?!?! Crappy wifi, hard beds, very small amount of channels. Housekeeper stole some of my food and a pair of shoes. The owner doesn't even thank her guest for keeping her rude self in business. Walks around like she is God and craps gold. It's guest/customers that keeps your bills paid, shouldn't treat them horribly. DO NOT STAY AT CONCORDE SUITES!!!!!!! BEWARE THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES

My girls absolutely loves being here for summer camp. Very caring staff and decades of experience. They cannot wait to start full-time.
