Quality Inn Brunswick

Overall: the service was great. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was very clean. I put 4 stars because the carpet needs to be deep claned and AC filter has to be changed ( one put on heat, the AC started to smell disgusting, so we kept it on Cool). Also we booked a room for two people, but got only 1 towel in the room.

When we arrived the clerk was very rude and acted like we were disturbing her. However the next morning the girl working the breakfast station was pleasant. The towels were extremely thin. We've stayed in other Quality Inn and this one was sub par. Very disappointed.

Made reservation online while traveling. Checked in, after waiting for 10 minutes while one of the desk clerks spoke to someone on the phone about a receipt for a past stay and the other clerk stood there - guess only one computer was working. We went to room only to discover pathways to room covered in extremely slippery ice. I made it to the room to find broken curtain bracket on window of first floor room & husband almost fell so went to desk to tell them an alternate room was needed. Only available room was in 2nd floor & no elevator. Took it as we had a no refund reservation. Husband had difficulty with stairs but managed to make it. TV did not have sound & had to wait for maintenance to come fix it. TV & direct TV needed to be reset. Desk, bedside table & TV cabinet in room had sticky stuff all over them & I cleaned them as I’m sure housekeeping was gone for the day. Went to get ice & machine was out of order. Went downstairs to desk & was told another machine was outside but I did not have shoes on so desk clerk did go out to get ice for me. Carpets in hall & stairs are stained & nasty. My socks got very dirty. Haven’t slept here yet nor had the included breakfast but my hopes are not high.

Broken toilet seat and you had to take the back off and pull the chain to flush it. The AC was broken. Only one towel in the room. Roach poop in the bathroom. They moved is to another room. The bed frame was broken and one side was a couple inches lower than the other. The carpet was torn and pictures were ripped off the wall. Pieces of the ceiling were falling down onto the bed. The entire place is run down and dirty. I know its cheap, but don’t stay here. Booked online and it’s non-refundable, we are leaving anyway.

Any progress I had were corrected with the awesome coffee and breakfast waiting for me to start my day. Relaxed atmosphere was a plus. They also know how to separate rooms for quite when possible. I appreciate that

We booked this hotel through a website. When we arrived, the hotel was full and they claimed they did not have our reservation. My wife and I left and drove 5 and a 1/2 hours home that night, because there wasn't another hotel available in the area. That was over 2 weeks ago. The hotel somehow charged my bank account for a reservation they claimed that they did not have in the first place. The website company has actually contacted them twice. And still, we have not received the refund for the night we weren't even supposedly reserved in the hotel. Can somebody please explain this to me? We really would just like our money back for the night that we did not get to stay in the hotel. This is ridiculous and horrible service. We've tried to call the phone number for the hotel and it doesn't even ring through. It just disconnects. Somebody please tell me what the hell is going on with this hotel. Rip off artists. Save your money and stress level and go somewhere reputable.

Not a bad stay just wish people would read the rules it says no smoking in the room but my next door neighbors didn't pay attention to that and decided to smoke weed all night don't care about the smoking it part that's your deal but it stinks would like to have the same respect with the weed that I give with the cigarettes I don't smoke cigarettes in the room so I would like to not smell the weed

States pet friendly but they have certain rooms for dogs and not impressed. Note on the air conditioner to keep the AC between 67 and 70. Seriously? If I wanted to freeze I would not be in Georgia, LOL.
