Red Roof Inn Kingsland

The room was fairly clean, except for the roach that ran across the floor. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. It does need some repairs, the tub spigot is just hanging there, and a towel rack is half off the wall. They offer a hair dryer, but the outlet by the sink does not work. They offer coffee in the room, except there were no cups. Their continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The cereal and milk and waffles were OK, the hot water for the oatmeal was Luke warm. Since they only offer Styrofoam bowls, you can't heat it in the microwave. The orange juice was so watered down, it was nothing but colored water. The only reason we stay is because they allow our dogs without charging an arm and a leg. They did give us a room on the first floor, which was good as the elevator was broke. Our room was not far from an area where the dogs could go potty.

Budget hotel the bed is very uncomfortable and will cause back pain as it sinks in. Many of the cable channels have zero volume for some reason. Staff and maids are very pleasant and good at their jobs. Went to escape hurricane and the layout is very accommodating to dogs with area to walk. Two gas station a few hundred feet away. Breakfast is laughable but you get what you pay for.

The best part of our visit was the office staff (Trish). She was professional, knowledgeable and very kind. The room was adequate and met our needs. The location was easy to find and near gas stations, restaurants and other shopping venues.

Stayed for 4 days during Hurricane Milton, a terrible and stressful time. The staff, especially the manager Diane, were awesome. I will definitely be back the next time I pass through the area. This hotel is located in a good area for restaurants. Also, very dog friendly.

This hotel is 10/10. The staff is AMAZING! Going without power at home with Hurricane Helene they were a GODSEND! Diana and Tricia took VERY good care of me and my family! Would definitely book again if I stay in town again!

I’ve stayed in some pretty bad hotels/motels but this one tops the cake. ||Me and my family checked in tonight after 8pm to get some rest while on a road trip home. We were packing our bags and leaving by 9pm. ||We booked 2 rooms. One room was worse than the other. ||The first room had stained bed sheets, sheets with cigarette burn holes, holes in the walls, torn up chairs. ||The second room had a dead roach, spider webs, hair stubble in the sink, a stained toilet with a dirty toilet seat, a shower with stains everywhere, and a white towel with brown and red stains. ||Both non-smoking rooms stunk like stale cigarette smoke. The woman at the front desk did not want to help us at all. Outside the rooms were people doing drugs and freaking out. ||We decided that there was no way we could spend another hour there let alone the night and packed our bags, ate the money we spent on this place and went to another hotel.

Strangest place I ever slept at. I think it was either a drug addict motel or the place is filled with criminals. They do have smoking rooms if needed.

I've stayed in many Red Roofs over the years and this one is the nicest. Clean, renovated and everything was in good working order. One comment however: the shower floor had a very low "curb" which allowed quite a bit of water to leak out, even if the spray was not heavy. I was careful to put the bath mat to absorb most of the water and wipe the floor dry after my shower, but most guests will not bother with that. The two-star rating for service was for asking reception for additional hangers (there were only 2 in the room) and being told they didn't have any.
