NillI though this would just be a normal airport hotel. This was one of the most disgusting hotel stays I have ever stayed in. I felt uncomfortable touching anything in the room. I had arrived late to the airport (after midnight) and if it was not for the time I would have never stayed here. The room wreaked of cigarettes when walking in even though I asked for a non smoking room (I am from the north/west coast- I guess I though having smoking hotel rooms was normal for the south). It was obvious they wiped the place down with bleach but that could not really hide that there has been no deep cleaning in this room for a long time. The bed sheets had stains (they did come to replace them even at 1am) but honestly I did not feel comfortable here even after that. The mattress cover had stains that look like bed bug stains but the woman was dismissive to them- I did not see bugs so I suppose it could have also been mold. I would not recommend staying here to anyone even if you are desperate-it feels like the type of hotel you would bring a hooker to. The walls are so thin that I had to listen to my neighbor play video games on full volume all night. I wore shoes in the shower because it did not feel clean and it did not even have hot water. Also I have seen the owner comments saying they are sorry other guests did not have a good experience but it is obvious they do not take feedback seriously

NillStandard days inn. Room smelled of mold or musty. It was clean. Had clean towels. There is a 2 in 1 for hair and 2 bars of soap. We arrived after midnight due to our flights. Left the next morning. Free breakfast: ate and banana and yogurt. Not the hotel: it cost 20$ taxi to get there and 25$ to get back to the airport.

★If you’re looking for a miserable night’s sleep in Garden City, look no further than the Days Inn! From the second we stepped into our room, it was clear this place had seen better days—probably decades ago.|||| 1. Mildew Meets Mystery Stains: The room reeked of mildew, and the bed linens were decorated with stains that honestly looked like a crime scene. Seriously, who thought this was acceptable?|| 2. Calling the Front Desk? Good Luck! The in-room phone was a useless piece of plastic. No dial tone, no help—just there to remind us that this hotel doesn’t care if you have issues… and we had plenty.|| 3. A Shower That Refuses to Drain: The shower and sink drains were so clogged they barely functioned. We complained to the front desk and got a charming grunt from the staff member, followed by absolutely no action. Customer service at its finest!|| 4. Furniture Fiasco: The chair in our room looked like it had been rescued from a dumpster, complete with stains and grime. I wouldn’t sit on it unless I had a hazmat suit.|| 5. Shady Surroundings: The parking lot? Sketchy as it gets, thanks to an on-site dive bar. We felt like our car needed extra locks.|| 6. Smoking “Amenities”: They thoughtfully put the smoking areas right next to the AC intake vents. So if you’re a fan of cigarette-scented air conditioning, you’re in luck!|| 7. Mystery Breakfast: Breakfast? Who knows. No one at check-in even bothered to tell us it existed. Honestly, though, with the state of this hotel, I’m relieved we didn’t eat there.||||In short, if you’re thinking of staying here—don’t. There are better places to spend your money, like a cardboard box on the street.

★★★The rooms are clean and nice. Not many amenities though. No racks for luggage. Towels are okay. Beds medium soft. Parking is a bit weird but plenty of it. Close to airport but you really don't hear noise. The breakfast ranks among the worst cinsisting of muffins, yogurt and bananas and some juice/coffee. That's all...

NillUpon my flight cancelling last minute, this was the nearest and cheapest option. Having to pay an extra $50 for transportation to/from the airport, I would have rather put that towards staying at a nicer hotel with shuttle service to the airport. However, my room was really clean and I was fortunate that it was actually quiet at night. I would encourage ear plugs though because the fighter jets across the street taking off with after burners is not a pleasent alarm to wake up to. It was a quick and easy check in process and overall had a pleasent experience.

NillWe booked this hotel because it was affordable, close to the airport, and advertised a shuttle service. We even called ahead to confirm the shuttle, but when we arrived, we were told there was no shuttle available. The room itself smelled strongly of mold, making the stay uncomfortable. The only decent aspect was the bar/restaurant across the street, but even that wasn’t family-friendly—it’s 21+ and allows smoking indoors. Overall, this hotel is misleading, unpleasant, and not suitable for families. Definitely would not recommend.

NillThe 1st room I was in had mold growing in it which got on some of my clothes 😭. They moved me to another room which had a roach 🪳 yes just seen 1 which was murdered by my son...lol the fridge in the new room was working and the tv had a crack going down the middle. They replaced both items the next day while I was at my job at the time. There's a bar that sits at the top/middle part of the hotel that doesn't close until late which is good. Great location meaning it's near the airport and sits on Dean Forrest Pkwy.

NillI don’t know where to start! My wife and I booked the room for 3 nights because of the hurricane.. after getting up for work at 6am and getting home at 7 to start packing and getting everything prepped the best possible before the storm hit.. so I got to this motel around 7am the next morning they told me they could check me in at noon.. that was nice of them considering check in time was at 3pm.. noon however turned into 1:30 and the first thing I wanted was a nice hot shower and a nap, the water? Well it was ice cold and brown! Had they told me before hand that they are still experiencing some problems from the last hurricane that just hit I would have been more understanding.. but they didn’t and when my wife called the desk they acted like they knew nothing about it. The room itself felt damp and when I was talking to my neighbor he showed me his ceiling that had all kinds of mold growing on it.. I was in a nonsmoking room but yet had what looked like burns in the comforter.. and do yourself a favor, if you’re hungry don’t eat at that restaurant on the grounds, we paid almost $30 for two burgers and the burgers looked and tasted like that frozen crap in a box! Dry and nasty on top of being well done when I asked for medium.lastly it cost me $110 per night for this dump!
