The shower in the room was not completely clean and one of the towels had a hole in it. The breakfast was very subpar. The highlight were running tasteless scrambled eggs, and sausage patties saturated in oil or grease. Also, you want decent coffee in the morning and the coffee at breakfast was horrible. Given the amount they charge there are better options nearby at a much lower price point.

Our stay was wonderful! We were there for three nights and everyone was very polite and accommodating. Sai and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The breakfast was adequate for what it is, and the small fitness center was nice and had everything I needed to get two workouts in during the stay. My only recommendation would be to adjust or do something with the shower doors to prevent water from leaking out from underneath and onto the floor, which seems to be a recurring issue in this review thread. Other than that, great place to stay and I’d certainly stay there again in the future if visiting Savannah.

Location felt sketchy. I was worried my truck would get broken into. Room was not clean. Floor was slippery. There was residue was left on the bathroom counter, not sure what it was from. Bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen. The warming pan that food was served in was dirty with burned eggs stuck to it. All the food was low quality and poor tasting. The coffee tasted like it was a day old and brewed in a dirty coffee maker. The place had a very modern industrial theme and was not comfy and welcoming.

The young staff was very pleasant and kind. The breakfast was average. I asked for an extension to 12pm for checkout time during my check-in at 3 and the front desk receptionist said we could have that time. The next morning at 10:52 am I got a call saying we had to leave at 11am. The manager of the hotel had his staff call and knock on doors for other guests to leave as well even though we were told we could have that 12 checkout time or He would charge our cards. My daughter and I rushed downstairs and finished getting prepared for the morning in the LOBBY BATHROOM!!! I spoke with other guests in the lobby who was frustrated and confused as well. This was very inconvenient and the manager should have ate the cost with being more reliable in keeping him and his staff words that everything was settled with the extension for his guests AND the manager was not even at the Glo hotel as I was told. He had his staff kick us out earlier then expected right before 11. So if you visit make sure when you ask for an hour extention have the staff write it down or your stay may not be as pleasant as you think. Will I be a guest again? No😒 Whatever the manager name is..DO BETTER because your guests chose Your establishment for a good reason from all the other hotels but you made the decision to make our morning uncomfortable and very inconvenient. If it wasn't for the young staff being pleasant with my concerns I would have given you (manager) a lower rating.

Great Savannah stay option. Quiet and just a short 20 min drive to downtown. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Conversation areas are comfotable and inviting. Coffee service is good. The rooms are well equipped but simple. The linens and beds were comfy.

We’re driving from Miami and decided to stop for a good night of sleep. There’s so many hotels around but Glo caught our attention. The Room is brand new , 🙌🙌🙌, beautiful colors , details and decoration. Even the toiletries are top notch ! What a pleasant surprise. The girl at the front desk was super polite and checked us in pretty quick.

We will come back. Spacious breakfast room, nice selection of food and drink. Front desk, friendly and welcoming. Room Nicely decorated, modern, Bright colors, very clean, love the night stands for the king bed. Many times nite stands are too far from the bed to reach when lying in bed. Mattress and pillows comfortable. Plenty USB ports/sockets. We Loved shower head spray, stall nice and big, and especially loved the toiletries brand “pharmacopia” I’m going to look for this. Body wash & shampoo really sudsy, silky smooth. Closed captioning worked for the TV, and remote was much easier to use than last hotel. NEGATIVES: Rooms are considerably smaller than normal, there’s no luggage stand, and microwave is in the closet very inconvenient. Alarm went off at 5am UGH!!! Next door patron kept his TV up loud ALL night long. We did contact the front desk, they requested that the sound be adjusted numerous times, but even as late as 3 am it was not lowered. I only got 3 hours sleep.

I travel to Savannah frequently, and have stayed at a lot of hotels that have turned out to be tired, dirty, and a bit sketchy, even when they look nice on the internet. Glo, however, did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and professional. The property was very well maintained, and the parking lot was well-lit, and felt safe. I was always able to park in full view of the lobby, adding a level of safety. I never saw any people lurking around in the parking lot, which seems to be a frequent concern at other Savannah hotels. The hotel and its rooms were modern, clean, and well equipped. I used the business center in the lobby that offered computers and printers (with seemingly unlimited free printing), and I enjoyed the breakfast, which included eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and cereal. My room (with 2 queen beds) was spacious and included all of the necessary features that make travel easy: lots of plugs for chargers, in-room safe, ironing board and iron, spacious refrigerator and microwave, clean fluffy towels and impeccable bed linens and pillows. No nasty bedspread -- just a top sheet that can be replaced with each occupant! I appreciated the wood floors, which gave the room a clean feel. The very large window was covered with the best black-out shade I have ever used. No icky curtains! I'm honestly very picky and once ran a hotel housekeeping crew, and I can verify that this room was spotless. Best of all, the hallways were quiet. I have found my new home-away-from-home!
