The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club

What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious.

Great place to get on Beach time and slow done in the best of atmospheres. I HIGHLY recommend.||Seaside is one of the best golf courses in Georgia. I was skeptical a few years back when I heard of the plans to create a pool and pool house between The Lodge and the Golf Performance Center, but, they pulled it off!! Must have had a great architect.

Great resort! Very high quality service, amenities and the golf facilities are first rate. Everyone working at the Lodge is always super friendly and making sure you have what you need!

The Lodge is one of our favorite resorts. The people are so welcoming, the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are incredible. There was no need to go off property because golf, dining, and shopping are all available. ||||In the evening a bagpiper serenaded guests. The restaurants and bar gave us options for meals and snacks. The floral arrangements were lovely and there was a special scent in the open area that was very nice.||||Shuttle service was available to get to the Cloister and back or you could arrange to drive one of their cars off the property.

The Lodge is top notch with amazing staff and great golf. You’ll pay a fortune to stay there so baffling that management would choose to give guests the worst television experience possible. Hampton Inn blows away the ridiculous TV experience. With so many areas to boost profits, bizarre they choose to irritate their customers this way. Leaves a bad taste on what should have been a number one experience.

Very unreasonable management. A category 3 hurricane was approaching and the resort was unwilling to give me a refund or cancel my stay. Arrived and there was no power with this exception of one part of the hotel. No internet or cable service. Could not order breakfast from the menu only a limited buffet. Two hour wait to eat dinner at the restaurant throughout the stay.

Coffee was not hot. They keep it in a thermos by the bar. We solve the problem by going to the lobby and getting same coffee, hot and much larger portions than the small coffee cups used in the restaurant.

A very calm and elegant place. The food is exquisite and the staff are delightful.
