Sea Gate Inn

We (Family of 4) had a wonderful stay at Sea Gate recently. Rooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. Management team was easy to work with, effective communication. Location is great, right at the beach and close enough to the village. Heated pool was clutch! Thank you all!

The check in process was very easy. After I filled out the check in form, I got a text with my room and door code. The room did not disappoint, it was huge with a large balcony. The bed was a bit firm, but everything else was very nice. Well definitely stay here again next time we visit.

We loved our stay at this Inn. We were welcomed when we arrived with a smile. We walked into our room and it immediately felt like home. The room was immaculate and the view was spectacular. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip, but we will definitely be back and stay much longer as soon as possible!

Stayed here for 7/3-7/7 and it was such a great place! The property manager was such a huge help. We were arriving after midnight to check in and she was emailing us with a proper place to park our car since lot was full! Room was very clean and loaded with all necessities. Loved everything about this place! Would definitely stay again in the future.

This is the best little hotel! Views of the ocean, lovely little pool- the rooms are huge, with almost a full kitchen (no oven). Beds are comfy, easy walk to tons of restaurants. The staff is incredible. We can’t wait to come back!

The first few nights staying here were great. The room was mostly clean, but there was a few stains on the walls and in the kitchen and the floor had sand. The mirror light didn’t work in the first room and the knob to the shower was broken upon arrival. Not a huge deal, however the bigger problem with this hotel is the reception. I called the book an additional two days in this hotel, but I had to get moved to a different room because the room I was in had guests coming which is fine. However, there is no reason guests should be waiting 4+ hours for a response about amenities. We are here on vacation and had to drive around all day waiting on a response from her and she told us it should be ready right away. We texted her well in advance to 11 to let her know we checked out with no response and then an additional few texts and calls throughout the day to see if we could just move our luggage over. I understand that check out is at 11 and check in is at 4, however she told us it would be ready so we waited around which was a huge mistake because we could’ve actually done something with our day. A simple no it’s not ready would have been understood. We did not receive a response from her until after 4. I would think us spending over $200 on a room each night there should be a little bit better communication. She got back with us a little after 4 saying she ‘was in a meeting’ after sending multiple texts and calling. When we arrived her friends/family were in the pool calling her name so I imagine she has time to book pool parties but not answer guests. I would consider hiring someone new if the person you have cannot respond to hotel guests requests in a timely manner because that’s just ridiculous. The other staff I ran across was really friendly and the view/location was nice. It was also pretty quiet besides the early morning pool cleanings, luckily I got there before the Spring Breakers arrived.

This was a beautiful location for a fun and relaxing stay at St. Simon’s. The suite was beautiful and stocked with small but needed items. The pool was clean and never crowded, and it’s in a good spot for walking distance to downtown, the beach, and the restaurants and bars at the opposite end as well.

An amazing experience. We received our text early and arrive around 2:30 and we got access to our room immediately. The unit was gorgeous and clean. Beautiful room and beautiful view from the balcony. Granted it was off season but the place was quiet and clean inside and out. I would totally recommend staying here. Many restaurants are within a 1 mile radius. Easy to walk or drive. We felt welcome everywhere we went and has some amazing meals on SSI
