Courtyard Chicago Oakbrook Terrace

Overall, it's not a bad hotel. Can tell tell it's an old setup that has had some newer updates. Layout is so odd! Have to walk really far to get to only elevators or stairs. The courtyard in the middle of the place is cute. Bisto/coffee place is okay, nothing special. Front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly! Had an unfortunate fire alarm call in the middle of the night, of which they compensated us for.

Very dirty would not recommend this place. nail clippings all over the sleeper bed. The room was very dirty. The sleeper bed did not come with sheets or pillows or blankets that pathetic. People were drinking beer in the pool area. Bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The air conditioner is so loud it rattles. The lamp in the room was broken. Some of the plugs didn’t work. This place is falling apart.

We did a stay-cation with my family. Front desk agents were super nice, house keepers awesome and engineer who helped us connecting our console to the tv was wonderful as well. My husband and myself working in customer service jobs I can say the lady who was bartending on Saturday night was rude. We rushed to get ourselves drinks after a long day with the kids, and 15-10 minutes before the bar closed we ask nicely and she just rushed out of the bar and said it was closed. How long does it take to make drinks?

Thank you Andrea! I had booked a room and unfortunately I had to travel on emergency the same day I booked a couple of hours before check in. I called and asked to speak with a manager and Andrea I believe her name is understood my concern and did what she could to help me. Thank you Andrea managers like you are hard to come across that understand.

Staff, including manager, were great to work with, accommodating, friendly, responsive. Traveling for work and have already booked other trips with this hotel. Clean, quiet room, updated lobby and facility. Easy parking, convenient to interstate, lots of restaurants and shopping too.

Microwave wasn't working when complained was told to use the one in lobby later upon insisting was replaced but that too didn't work so has to put it on countertop n use other power plug . Beds weren't comfortable. Heating controls weren't explained as they have 2 control panels and auto settings aren't good . Management was good and they gave some bonvoy points for inconvenience and gave manager 's number to escalate but I didn't bother

The women in front are ridiculous. We waited an hour and a half to get our room. They told us we had to print the form from Marriott. We said ok. We went to the computer to print the form from Delanarruot and they closed the computer and said they couldn't give us the room anymore.

I will never stay here again. The “breakfast included” option upcharge for the room is a joke. No coffee 24 hrs like anybody else. I was just told that it will only be served after 6:30am and even then my “breakfast included” affords me only 1 small coffee. The actual included breakfast status allows only your choice of either 2 “cold” items or 1 “hot” both with a drink i.e. a yogurt and a banana - or - fresh fruit cup and an apple and either juice or bottled water. No return visits....that’s it. The hot item is like a toasted bagel. It’s basically a starbucks in the hotel with a bar that incidentally doesn't open if they think the room occupation status doesn't warrant it, so you best be prepared to drive etc.
