★★★★When I arrived to the hotel with my coworker, Vanessa, the desk attendant discovered I had booked at the wrong hotel. She patiently assisted me in booking a room on the same floor as my coworker at Stay Bridge. She sensed I was stressed, spoke with me calmly and gave me a snack. The best part of my stay was the professional, caring staff. The hotel is located in a safe, easily accessible area close to great resturants. A small duck pond is behind the hotel. The full morning breakfast included a variety of hot and cold choices each morning. Three days of the week, a complimentary happy hour offered fewer choices. While the hotel was extremely clean and my bed very comfortable, the decor could use a refresh. I Appreciated the built in shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers. A complimentary laundry room (bring or buy detergent) was located in the small gym area on the first floor. Overall, a very nice place for a brief or extended stay.

NillVery nice and well kept hotel. Room was large and included full size fridge, two burner stove, microwave, sink and dishwasher. Location was far enough off of big roads so no street noise. All the staff was nice and helpful. Hotel has free breakfast everyday and evening social three days a week ( food but no booze ). Hotel has free internet which was more than adequate, though business center’s two computers didn’t seem to be hooked up to it ( not a big deal. Front desk was willing to print out a boarding pass but I opted to use the app function on my phone). Room rates were very reasonable, especially for a room that included a kitchen and many things in it (plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc). Hotel was able to accommodate my request for side by side rooms with my friend. Would definitely stay here again if I ever needed to return to Chicago.

★★★★★I recently stayed at the Staybridge Oakbrook Terrace and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day. The amenities were excellent, including a well-maintained fitness center and a delicious breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel’s location was also convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service, comfort, and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

★★★★★Although this property is starting to look a little worn out and dated, the beds were quite comfortable and the sleep quality was excellent. The staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet. There was little smell of weed which is way too common in hotels these days. We only smelled it once in the elevator. They seem to have a no tolerance policy. Breakfast was slightly above adequate for a typical hotel buffet breakfast. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is near many restaurants and shopping, and exactly halfway between our family and my husband's out of town office. We will likely stay again.

★As a Gold Member of IHG I have stayed at many IHG properties, inlcuding multiple Staybridge properties. This Staybridge was one of, if not the worst, experience I've had at any IHG property. It started with the checkin, which as I walked into the hotel there was a weird, at best, smell throughout the main areas of the hotel. Which I later found went into the room where I was staying as well. I meet the unfriendly woman at the front desk who then tells me there's a $150 dollar deposit, which was more than the room was for the night and also considering how dated this hotel was seemed ridiculous. I then tell her I would like a checkout for 1pm after she offered only 12pm which I told her wasn't late enough. She reluctantly gave me the 1pm checkout. As I get to the room everything is dated and falling apart, however it is clean for whatever that's worth. The black out curtains had holes in them and were on a track that was falling off, the bathroom door was dirty and coverd with water damage, the bath tub had pieces of the porcelian (or whatever the material is) missing, the toilet handle was on upside down, the bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain, etc. Fast forward to the next morning, the room cleaning service is knocking on my door at 8am despite the fact that the do not disturb sign is on the door and the late checkout for 1 pm. Then I received 3 or 4 phone calls back to back from the front desk around 1145 am. I only answered the last one where the woman on the phone quickly informs me that checkout is at 11 am and asks if I want to extend my stay for another night. I, of course, tell her no I do not becuase my checkout time is at 1pm even though I should have one available to me until 2 pm. I haven't had too many issues with IHG in the past, which is apparent by me never writing a review, but this was certainly an unpleasant experience and I would certainly not reccomend this hotel or return to this hotel at any point.

★★★★★We were traveling with a couple of exchange students so giving them a private place to sleep and having their own bathroom was great. The hotel is older but well kept and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was delicious and varied each day and was a good way to start the day. About a 25min drive to downtown easy commute. We will stay there again

★★★Very out dated. Beds are not comfortable but the room was clean! Breakfast was okay low on food 30mins before closing and would not put out fresh potatoes and scones. Front Desk named “D” was amazing! The Night Auditor was also amazing, he took care of the room above me because at 3am water was heavy leaking from above the toilet. I did not have to move rooms as the leak did stop and I was checking out that morning. He offered me a late check out but I did not need to use it. Also I did not get any service recovery points for the leak issue.
