Staybridge Suites Rockford, an IHG Hotel

Location was very convenient right off of interstate. Close to lots of food and convenience stores. We where greeted by very helpful and friendly staff. Lobby was very clean and modern. The room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom had great shower with plenty of hot water pressure. The small kitchen area was very convenient. The workout room was well-equipped. There was a clean nice pool indoor pool. The only disappointment was lack of a place to plug my phone cord into. Usually there's a wall plug in or a desk block. Really very modern clean safe and friendly hotel suite

Very positive experience at this hotel! My family and I will look to stay at the Staybridge Suites for our future travel plans. The rooms were clean. The staff welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Erica, our front desk attendant was very informative of the hotels accommodations and assisted us smoothly during check-in. The pool was down unfortunately for maintenance during our stay but that happens and we won’t take away points because that is something no one can control. Pantry was convenient to go to for small necessities. Laundry facilities were available. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve been to. It was buffet style and had a good selection for warm items. Over exceeded our expectations. 10/10!

We were driving west and north from West Virginia on Saturday, January 4, 2025. We had changed our original route to St. Louis due to a big snowstorm coming from the west. Arrived in Rockford about and checked in here about 5:30PM. We were very pleasantly surprised at the deluxe suite we were given with full breakfast included. The price was what we usually pay for a small room without breakfast. Our room was beautiful and huge which included a kitchen. There are quite a few hotels all around here in close proximity, I'm sure they don't offer as good a deal as we had here. Our suite was incredibly comfortable. We had a great night here. Breakfast was awesome as well. So many selections of good things to eat both hot and cold. This is a very well managed hotel, we were very impressed. I wish all places could be like this. We very highly recommend Staybridge. Excellent!!

This is one of the best long term stay hotels I have stayed when traveling for work in the Midwest. It’s well rounded with personnel and services from the front desk, the manager, breakfast is excellent with many options and fresh food (Maria, Claudia, Lucy, and Katy always so kind and happy to help). I had my son with special needs visit and they were accommodating to him and patient. This is something I always hope to have for my son. They also spoke Spanish and that’s great. Cleaning service is always available and thorough. Overall above and beyond. Thank you for your cheerful service wonderful!

This hotel is clean despite being a little older. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has nice variety, and guest laundry is free. It's within walking distance to several fast food places and a Hard Rock Casino.

First time in Rockford and this hotel. HUGE room with extra amenities that would have been perfect for a long stay! Breakfast both mornings was AMAZING...huge buffet with lots of options for all diets. Delicious coffee all day long and huge seating area next to fireplace any time of day/night. Only downside was noise level. Our room was directly above the pool - sounded like we were IN the pool area and could hear every conversation. Also when neighbors left rooms the doors would slam loudly. Next time we stay (which we will), we will be sure to request a room away from pool and others.

Very clean room as shown in the photos. Please don't mind my personal items all over :) The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and small gaming casinos. The surrounding area feels safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and clean room.

Beds are comfortable and pillows were good. Surprisingly my room had the most water pressure in a shower out of all hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was very pleasant! Breakfast is good because of the options, but the eggs are your typical hotel eggs and I’ve never been a fan of turkey sausage. My biggest complaint is the updating that is needed. I kind of felt like I walked into my grandma’s house when I opened up my door. Artwork, wallpaper, kitchen need some reimagining. And the TVs are small, might be the 1st gen of flat screens. They are not smart tvs. It even had a DVD player in the room. I don’t know anyone who carries around DVDs to hotels? For the price comparing between other Staybridge Suites, it’s over priced.
