NillVery nice, kept up. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice area, decent breakfast. There was a lounge and restaurant on premises but neither were open and looked like they hadn't been in use in awhile. Only real issue I had was the freezer, in mini fridge, that was in serious need of defrosting. Was pouring rain and the front desk had an umbrella they let me borrow😊

NillWhile the rooms were spacious they were not clean. We did not have a great stay here. The first room we were in smelled very strongly of weed 🍃. After requesting to be moved the 2nd room was very dirty. There were fries on the floor, fast food wrappers under the tables, and even a pee spot on the floor in the bathroom. I pushed past the trash on the floor, and decided to stay in the room, but had I seen the pee on the floor before my children were asleep I would have left immediately.

NillWe stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Burlington, Iowa, and had a mixed experience. The front desk staff were very kind and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The in-room Jacuzzi was a highlight—spacious enough for two and very relaxing. We also liked being able to control our room temperature, and the view was great. On the downside, the lights flickered when turned on, the bathroom fan didn’t work, and we noticed burn marks near one of the electrical outlets. The showerhead was also pretty shabby, and the soundproofing was poor—we could hear people running and talking loudly in the halls, which made it feel less private. Overall, there were some great aspects, but the room could use a few maintenance upgrades.

NillIt's not for me. I had never stayed in this chain and thought I'd give it a try since it was only $100 (half price) on a weekend, through an online discount broker. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the furniture shows a lot of wear. They have cable but no Smart TV. Unfortunately, I unpacked before checking the cleanliness of the bathroom which was a mistake, it was filthy. Cannot recommend.

NillGreat room at a decent price! We loved the huge (2 person) and powerful Jacuzzi tub. Also had a regular tub. Did not care for the low toilet seat as I have difficulty getting up with my back issues.

NillI will NEVER STAY here again! On May 22 2025 at around 15:30 local time my husband walked out the door to grab food then I hear the key beep sound and the door open and me thinking it was my husband asked if he forgot something then the door closes quickly not getting a response, still thinking it was him ,I was concerned so I opened the door seeing the housekeeper walking away then I called my husband to make sure it wasn't him putting something inside then leaving and he said no. So it was obviously the housekeeper. The was clearly a do not disturb sign on door and there was NO knocking on the door before entering. I don't understand what her intentions were but it is unacceptable. Manager's answer was an apology and tell them not to do it again even though according to them( after watching security cameras) it was the supervisor that entered the room so shouldn't she know already the policy for entering a guests room. If you care about your safety choose another hotel.

NillI would normally give this place a 4 star rating, but unfortunately, that was ruined by the housekeeping staff when at 2 different times on the same day they tried to enter my room without knocking and while a do not disturb sign was hanging on the door handle. The first incident, my wife and I were sitting in the room having a conversation, and I heard the door trying to open, we had the deadbolt lock on as well as the latch securement in place. I got up and stood at the door and the housekeeper kept swiping her master key across the keypad trying to gain access, I then opened the door and she grabbed her clipboard and asked if I was checking out, I told her we had a next day check out and she said ok and walked away. Fast forward a few hours later and I left to go get dinner for my wife and I and just as I exited the hotel lobby going outside my wife called me and told me that the housekeeping just came into the room, she said that the housekeeper opened the door, walked in, my wife thought it was me so she asked if I forgot something as she could not see the door from where she was sitting at on the bed, when I did not respond she got up and seen the housekeeper walking out of the door back into the hallway, my wife ran to the door opened it and seen the housekeeper walking down the hall toward the elevator. She called me immediately at that point. I spoke to management about the issue, and they said in "short" that we showed checking out that day, and it was a mistake on their end. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but not knocking on the door is not a mistake. You know how many people carry firearms or weapons that stay in hotels and your housekeepers want to enter without knocking? Good way to get yourself hurt! You knock, knock again, and as a last resort, you enter and announce your presence. None of that was done both times, and shame on the housekeeping supervisor for not knowing that she should knock and announce her presence, instead you see me leave and then enter the room thinking it was empty, and that is why I am writing this review because it was poorly handled, and common sense was not used.

NillHotel is nice, the bad thing about it is that when we got there I pulled out the sofa bed, there’s literally a kids or men boxer hanging on the side of the edge, and on top of that the tv controller was not even working even after I called the front desk for new batteries it still didn’t work. After that I went to the front desk and I was in line behind a groups of old ladies, and we literally waited for 25-30min in line, on top of I had to wait another 25-30 min just for my turn.
