Hilton Garden Inn Omaha East/Council Bluffs

Overall, this was a pretty underwhelming stay. While the location is nice and convenient near the events center, I wouldn't have minded staying further away in a nicer place. The windows didn't seal in the room, meaning that the noise of the casino next door could be heard all night long. Breakfast was deceptively marketed in a way so as to look complimentary, but it is definitely not.

Room was clean, but our bathroom smelled like somewhere spent the whole night throwing up in it. I had to go buy Febreeze cause they didn’t have anything to take care of the smell. Other than that we loved this hotel and my daughter loved their pool.

Needed to cancel my reservation due to concert that was canceled at Whiskey Casino adjacent to the hotel and management was unwilling to help. I will no longer be considering Hilton properties when unwilling to help me due to unforeseen circumstances.

I was in town for a work conference and to stay at this hotel on Thursday and Friday. When I checked in Thursday night I pulled back the bedding and it had not been changed. There were many short black hairs on the sheets. I went down to the front desk (they were wonderful and very kind) to get clean bedding. I changed the bedding, but the air conditioning was not working properly so the room was uncomfortably warm. When I put the top lid down on the toilet seat there was dried urine behind it, where the seat is attached to the bowl, so the bathroom was not cleaned properly either. I also let the front desk know about this. They did offer me a complimentary breakfast but I didn't accept. We were having breakfast at the work conference I was attending. I was also given a fan to help with the warm room. It was a little round desk fan that the front desk staff uses for themselves while working. I usually never stay at Hilton but since the conference suggested this hotel as it was within walking distance most of us attending were booked to stay here. I will continue to avoid Hilton hotels. Also I am trying to upload my pictures and it is not working.

Overpriced for what you get. The pool was only 4 feet deep and 20 feet long. The beds are hard, and the food they serve is bland. Not really kid friendly.

Huge pleasant rooms. This hotel feels new and everything was still nice. The rooms are massive. We got the one bedroom suite and it had a large living area with. mini bar, 1.5 bathrooms (!!), with the master bath being giant with a huge shower. We had minimal interaction with the staff, but they seemed kind a helpful. Breakfast is about $15 and they have menu options, we didn’t try it. The area is in Iowa across the river from Omaha. The hotel is connected to a casino and there is nothing else in the vicinity. It’s an easy 10-20 minute drive to most points in Omaha with lots of food options within a 15 min drive. Parking seemed to be an issue for larger vehicles. The spaces set aside for the hotel are compact. Larger vehicles had to be creative with parking, but there is a lot of free parking in the vicinity.

Amazing experience! Front desk service was incredible, Jason was so friendly and accommodating. I spend over 50% nights on road. He made me feel at home. Dee was great on check out, wanted to make sure my stay was great! Thank you for the great experience.

I booked my hotel room over two weeks ago through my business and was to be booked in a king Junior suite. I checked on online and it said my room would be ready, however, when I arrived, they said they had no rooms left. Never was I greeted as a Hilton Honors member. Apparently, it doesn’t matter here whether you’re a Hilton Diamond level member. I asked if they could give me any perks since my room was apparently given away, and the answer was no. Little do they know I’m in charge of recommending hotels for our statewide business for the next six months, and this will be going down on my “no” list.
