NillSo the location was extremely convenient for where we had to travel. Reasonably priced and close to the police station! Rooms were mediocre and the cleanliness of this hotel is less than par. I mean I have kids so I get things will be messy but this is a hotel chain and shouldn’t see hair and dust bunnies behind doors and trash on the bathroom floors. When they came in to clean in the am changed out towels but didn’t take the dirty linens with them. Don’t expect anything but cereal for breakfast because that is all that they had to offer. Plus, you would have to take the chairs down to sit at the tables. Never, I mean never anyone at the front desk. If you needed anything you would have to ring the bell and wait and they came from idk where. We were there for 3 nights and there was no other guests at the hotel besides us. Which to me is kinda strange as it is right off the interstate. We will never stay here again!

NillThis is the last place I will stay ever again. I am here for two different events. Somehow the mold on the bathroom ceiling was my fault. It appears based on the appearance that they have been re-painting over the mold. There is not a manager on duty after 5pm, and they refused to contact them. The breakfast waffle/pancake mix was sour and we didn’t even attempt to go to the pool. Best of luck as they do not care about the people staying.

NillThis hotel served my lodging needs and just barely met my quality standards. In a hurry to find a place to stay near the highway before catching an online meeting, I accepted the Council Bluffs AmericInn as my best bet despite several orange flags. The counter service person (who may have also been the manager 😬) appeared intoxicated and smelled of alcohol when I checked in at 6pm. (If not for Police station next door I may actually have left.) Air quality in the room was below average with noticeable scent of perfumed chemical cleaner - though the room did not inspire strong confidence in its actual cleanliness. 2 out of 3 lamps in the room did not work. Pillows were lumpy and very used, though bed was reasonably comfortable and I slept well. Ultimately I’m grateful that I had a place to stay, but with a little more flexibility in my schedule or time to look for other options, I surely would have stayed elsewhere.

★Positive: Location Negative: Not the clean place it has been in the past. I stayed there 5 or 6 times in past and have been pleased. This time we found a dirty room. We even found two bed bugs. One we caught and showed the front desk. Breakfast was less then adequate.

★★★★★Positive: Location, price, shower had great water pressure and the water got hot! the room had AC unit that I could control the room temp! The bathroom had a working sink and toilet! Bed was comfortable. Negative: the sitting chair super stained like it was bought from a frat house. I was afraid to sit or stand near it. The bed had this "handle" on edge - right where I swing my legs. that was awkward. The disappointing part was no hot breakfast "out of order'

NillEnded up checking out after an hour and leaving. Front desk refused to hear my complaints or issue any type of refund. Traveling with 2 kids and a cockroach like bug climbed out from under the night stand and into our fried rice.. put the lid on the container & brought to the desk where the lady continued to tell me it wasn’t from their hotel. Eventually just told her to check me out & left. Questionable amenities & argumentative staff. Definitely would not recommend unless you’re okay with bugs in your room.

NillI booked this hotel after staying at Red Roof Inn and not being impressed. This was not any better. The room smelled clean, but the bathroom was extremely out of shape. There was obvious water damage to the ceiling, peeling and chipping paint, moldy grout in the shower. The bed was a noisy spring mattress that was not comfortable to sleep in.

NillI would recommend looking elsewhere for your hotel needs especially if you have toddlers. We paid extra for a tub, and it didn’t even hold water. Water stains on the bathroom ceiling made it evident that they don’t fix their plumbing issues very quickly. The toilet was hard to flush. Outlets and light switches were a quarter of an inch sunk into the wall. The sheets were scratchy. Housekeeping took out trash and replaced most towels, but they did not make the bed. My card was turned off, so I had to go to the front office to get it working again. I told them about the tub, but nothing was done.
