Baymont by Wyndham Fort Dodge

I travel many places stay in many hotels. Never have i ever been disrespected like the time I stayed there. Jessica (receptionist) literally walked away left me at the counter and said nothing. Until I asked and what the problem was, I got a reply with an attitude too. Not everybody should be allowed to work hospitality, just saying. Fire hazards are an issue too.

Absolutely spotless, comfortable and clean. I'm glad I didn't see the reviews before staying here. Apparently they have cleaned up or have new owners. Breakfast was great, (biscuits and gravy was the reason I booked in the first place), pancakes, cereals, and even twinges. Pool area was clean. Price was comparable. 10/10 would stay here again.

Positive: The pancake machine and they had a working hot tub. It was close to our destination and had stores nearby. Negative: The finish on our bathtub in our room was coming off so it appeared moldy. There was actual mold on the ceiling above the bathtub. The pool was ice cold. The hot tub needed a good cleaning and paint job. No protein at breakfast.

Pool was shallow (4ft) and small but still nice. Had a hot tub off to the side of it too. Wide variety of breakfast stuff and fresh. Liked everything about it.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Baymont. The room was clean, and the bed served its purpose.

I stayed in the Baymont for 5 nights. The front desk attendant was very nice throughout my stay. When I first entered my room I was met with a dry and musty smell. I didn’t think much of it at first because the Hotel appeared to be on the older side. Upon further examination of the room I did discover mold in my room. The shower was very dirty as well. The gym at this hotel was a joke. Almost all of the equipment was broken. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Positive: Nothing! Negative: The pool was nasty. Didn't let my kids swim in it. The 150 dollar security deposit is ridiculous! The beds are small not a queen size like Promised! I will never stay there again! Negative: ""

Definitely a new owner and really trying to redo the place. It was a comfortable stay. The bed was ok and pillows were good. Love the little coffee, fridge, microwave set up. There was a ceiling fan which I was super thankful for. Fireplace electric heater on the wall. Very small breakfast bar but for a small hotel good. Nothing was omg amazing but nothing omd bad! You get what you pay for and would stay there again
